Lot 22

A large Chinese blue and white sleeve vase, Gu Kangxi Of near cylindrical form with slightly swollen centre section and gently flaring rim, decorated with the 'one hundred antiques' pattern of scattered precious and auspicious objects, lingzhi fungus mark within a double ring. 42cm high Restoration to a hair crack running down from the rim and curling round. Fine tail end of the crack remains visible and no further damage or filling in beneath the restored area detectable. In addition there are two very small rim chips and two small chips to the base just above the foot rim.

Lot 25

A Chinese blue and white lotus dish Kangxi Of plain round form, decorated with a central lotus medallion surrounded by a repeating lotus panel joined by trailing tendrils and flowers, the exterior finished in cafe-au-lait stopping at the foot rim, with lozenge mark inside a double ring. 21.5cm dia. Minor firing flaws inside foot rim.

A pair of Chinese blue and white lotus dishes Chenghua six-character marks but probably Kangxi Of gently lobed form and decorated with a central lotus and ruyi medallion within a repeating lotus and scroll border, with hardwood stands. 16cm dia. Both in good condition.

A Chinese blue and white tea caddy and cover Kangxi Of ovoid form, the domed cover with cone finial, decorated with panels of auspicious flowers and foliage. 19.5cm high Cover finial restored and appears subsequently broken off and re-glued. Chip to cover rim. Caddy itself appears good.

A small Chinese blue and white bottle vase Chenghua four-character mark but probably Kangxi Decorated with flowering lotus and other plants around rockwork. 14cm high Appears good.

A Chinese Kangxi famille verte bowl, another pomegranate decorated shallow dish, Chinese Imari teapot with replacement metal spout and a samson Japanese bird design octagonal tea bowl and saucer CONDITION REPORTS The teapot has numerous surface scratches, some discolouration and scuffs. The teapot lid has two chips. The famille verte bowl has numerous small chips to the edge and there is a crack from the edge going towards to centre for approx 2". Numerous surface scratches. The pomegranate decorated dish has numerous chips to the edge and some disclolouration and wear to the gilt work. The octagonal tea bowl has numerous small surface scratches and there is a chip to one of the sides. The tea bowl has minor surface scratches and there is a section of glaze missing to the wing of one of the painted bird decorations. All items show wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
