A GOOD PAIR OF 17TH/18TH CENTURY MOULDED ZISHA YIXING POTTERY TEAPOTS & COVERS, circa 1690, the sides of each moulded with two sinuous dragons disputing a flaming pearl, each cover with a coiled dragon finial, each base with a Kangxi seal mark, each 4.9in long including handle and spout & 2.75in high overall.
Pair of matched massive punch bowls by de Gournay with central holes formed at manufacture to the bases to enable their use as vanity sinks, 41cm dia. The design is inspired by the well known ‘Hundred Bird” Kangxi reign (1662 -1722) motif featuring a scene of phoenix birds, peacocks, peahens, kingfishers and numerous other small birds in flight amongst a landscape of trees, grasses and rocks. A 19th Century Chinese Kangxi palette polychrome decorated jardiniere of hexagonal form each panel decorated with bird amongst foliage, fish or decorative scrolls CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, discoloration and some water staining on the inside. Some imperfections to the glaze, blisters and pinpricks. There is a large chip to the rim on one of the sides also some chips to the edges, accretions etc. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
