A rare erotic blue and white Tea Bowl and Saucer, Kangxi (1662-1722), of moulded form with barbed rim, painted with a couple lying on a mat beneath a willow tree, the exterior with eighteen panels of fungus, saucer 11cm diameter . A similar cup and saucer in The Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam is illustrated by Christiaan Jorge in `Chinese Ceramics in the Rijksmuseum`, col. pl. 113. No obvious major faults.

A famille verte Plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), finely painted with a bird perched on a branch by rockwork, looking up at insects in flight, the border with bamboo and prunus, square mark in blue and incised Johanneum mark N=100 over initial I, 21.3cm Formerly in the collection of Augustus the Strong, King of Saxony, the residue of whose collection is in the Dresden Museum. Various nibbles to rim and minor enamel wear.

A rare famille verte Dish, Kangxi (1662-1722), with barbed rim, painted with a hanging lantern and precious objects, encircled by green and yellow dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amongst further precious objects, the underside with flowers, six-character mark of Chenghua in underglaze blue, 19.8cm Enamel wear.
