Scarce copy of Ray Stevenson’s original self-published 1977 printing of the Sex Pistols Scrapbook (from the tile page : No thanks to : Greedy Publishers, Ignorant Distributors, Bigoted News Agents, Malcolm)This was rapidly withdrawn from sale due to legal threats since the cover bored too heavily from Reid’s ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’ artwork without permission from Virgin and Malcolm McLaren. The book eventually was renamed and reprinted in 1978 as ‘The Sex Pistols File’ by Omnibus Press. This is the rare withdrawn first issue.
