1170 Two Monterey tile-top end tables Circa 1929 - 1936, made by Mason Manufacturing Company, each with branded ``Monterey`` signature to underside and branded horseshoe mark to apron, each with a square top inset with four brightly colored tiles over a wavy apron raised on four turned legs with forged iron straps, 2 pcs, each 17.25`` H x 23`` W x 23`` D, est: $1000/1500 Provenance: Private Collection, Arcadia, CA. Condition: Each with general nicks, scratches and marks commensurate with age and use. Each with wear and discoloration to grout. The first: two small red ink marks to top, severe fading and rubbed wear to finish, particularly to top, and a shallow .75`` x .25`` gouge to apron. The second: Two brackets each with a loss, each loss approximately 2`` x 2``. The top refinished. Wear to two top corners and minor wear to feet. Table wobbles.
