Ten William de Morgan green glazed tiles, depicting a partially complete maritime scene. Each tile 15.5 cm square (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The tiles are in generally good order with only minor edge nibbles and glaze losses. These should be evident from our images. The worst condition tile is the one with the fish head and body. This has been scored from left to right and top to bottom. The most significant chip is to the bottom left hand corner of the tile with the sun behind the ship. All tiles have some crazing and minor discolouration. The worst affected is the one with the stern of the ship where there is more significant crazing and browning to the right hand edge just above the sea. All tiles have the de Morgan mark impressed to the rear.
