A large Chinese porcelain tile or plaque in later hardwood stand probably late 18th / 19th century, depicting a cloud deity, one edge glazed with script, the other unglazed with written script, the back unglazed with three smaller drilled holes, top and unglazed side with three pierced / drilled holes, 17¾ x 12¼ (45 x 31cm.), 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) thick, the tile sliding down runners on stand, overall height 26 5/8in. (67.7cm.).* Condition: repair to top, adjacent to pierced / drilled holes, nibbles to corners, firing pitting to front, fair / good.
