SCOTTISH BLACK WATCH REGIMENTAL OFFICERS DIRK HOUSED IN ORIGINAL CASE OF ISSUE, fine example of a 20th century officers dirk with facetted amber glass top pommel and amber glass to the skinning knife and fork. Brass mounts with black watch St Andrew within thistle wreath to the top scabbard mount. Lower scabbard mounts all mounted with thistle. The top mount having Edinburgh makers mark to the reverse. Carved basket weave wooden grips with brass studs. Faceted back edged polished plain dirk blade. Dirk is housed in the original purple lined leather case of issue with brass hook fittings. One end of the box absent, but still a good example.
