These bikes were built in Zane, Italy from 1993 until 1999 before Laverda was sold to Aprilia in mid 2000Introduced in 1997, the 668 Sport was a fully faired sports machine similar to the 650 Sport and Formula models but with two round headlights instead of a single round unit. It was powered by a 668cc four-stroke air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin with fuel injection and offered 70bhp at 8,000rpm and 45lb/ft of torque at 7,250rpmSuspension consisted of a 40mm WP inverted adjustable telescopic fork on the front and an adjustable WP shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent riding capabilitiesThe Sport was dressed in a full fairing and with standard features including dual headlights, a small windscreen, two-piece dual seat, a passenger grab handle, and three-spoke aluminium-alloy wheelsThey were available in yellow with black and red with black.
