An early 20th century garden fork by Argyle & Co Birmingham. Stamped with maker's name and 1881, length 87cm.There are cracks in the top of the handle, these are stabilised by a small rod through the top.The fork was hung as a wall ornament in the late vendor's home for many years, it is quite short in length, but, in theory, could probably withstand the pressure of use.
