Early 20th century French silver gilt dessert service, comprising 12 pairs dessert spoons and forks, with raised floral decorated handles, in a fitted case (French Hallmarks) Ernest Prost, Paris. All at approximately 40ozs.Condition report: General overall condition very good, some surface scratching and minor wear, gilding slightly worn in places. All pieces are dirty. Marks stamped to left of heel of each fork are distorted and illegible and there is a minor casting fault on the back of each fork at bottom of each right hand tine. Case is generally good, some surface scuffing and wear. One spoon and fork weighs approximately 4ozs. Spoons approximately 18.2cm overall length, forks 18.3/18.5cm overall length.
