Bulova Accutron in working order and hums just as it should. This watch evokes an important stage of watch making history. Developed in the 1960s as an alternative to the lever movement, Bulova pioneered the Accutron with its tuning fork movement. This used the tuning fork instead of a balance for the timekeeping element. This was the forerunner of the quartz movement we all know today. At 35mm diameter the gold plated case is in extremely clean condition. The dial is silver with straight hour markers. The watch is in working order and "hums" just as it should.Click here for more details and images
