A VERY RARE VICTORIAN SILVERGILT TABLE FORK in ornamental Elizabethan pattern, further embellished with oval agate bosses*, by Francis Higgins, London 1851; 7.5" (18.5 cms) long; 2.1 oz *It seems very likely, particularly given the date of the hallmark that this fork (possibly as part of a service) was perhaps made & decorated with the Great Exhibition in mind.
