Two late eighteenth century porcelain, hand-painted pistol grip cutlery items to include a knife and fork, c. 1780. Each is moulded and is decorated with flowers and an armorial. Possibly Continental. Handles: 9 cm long. (2)Condition: In good overall condition bar some wear to the decoration.
A Decorative Hukin & Heath Plated Mounted Etched Glass Oval Dish, on fern leaf stand, dish 13.5cm wide; together with a Chinese tumbler, detailed with sinuous dragon in relief, a "Scharte" ladle initialled and dated "1865" (damages); a mother of pearl handled cake slice; a cake knife and fork; a c.late XIX / early XX Century cake knife and fork, mother of pearl handled tea knives, decorative mother of pearl handled dessert knives and forks, etc.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Germany, Knife and fork with iron prongs and blade (the blade with oval stamp), brass grips engraved with floral motifs, signed 'RICHT'. Iron hammers, springs and triggers. A good quality piece, a good option for 18th Century antique cutleries, difficult to be found on the international market. Kept in wooden case with velvet lining. length 26.9 - 28.8 cm.
dating: 17th/19th Century provenance: Italy, Heavy, smooth, two-stage, 19 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part with rear sight and lateral mark, pan with spark arrester and movable pan cover, then round and with foresight; matchlock with rectangular flat lock plate and slightly chiselled cock, missing upper screw for the match. Full stock of late XIX century with iron mounts. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod. Complete with an iron fork with wooden haft decorated with metal rivets and iron chape. length 145 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Indonesia, Two-stage barrel, octagonal at the first part and with vent, rear-sight and decorated with leaves in relief; round at the second part with wide moulded nozzle decorated en suite at the edges; handles carved with a dolphin, cylindrical cheek-pieces with gun-fork decorated with leaves; cylindrical, cascabel knot with a ring at the base. length 122.5 cm.
An early 19th century silver toddy ladle on twisted baleen handle, two further toddy ladles, each with possible hollowed bowls on twisted baleen handles, a bread fork, two silver salt spoons, a William IV silver caddy spoon section by Thomas Millington, a Scottish horn spoon with thistle top, etc (11).
