A SERVICE OF CARRS SILVER PLATED FLATWARE FOR TWELVE Old English pattern, housed in a black lacquer finish three tier canteen, Comprising: 12 table forks; 12 table knives; 12 steak knives; 12 dessert spoons; 12 dessert forks; 12 dessert knives; 12 soup spoons; 12 sauce spoons; 12 tea spoons; 12 coffee spoons; 12 pastry forks; 12 ice cream spoons; 4 table/serving spoons; 2 butter knives; 1 soup ladle; 1 sauce ladle; 1 cheese knife; 1 cake server; a carving knife, fork and steel The canteen 49cm wide Condition: A large portion of the set appears to have been unused, while some pieces appear to have seen 'light' use. Of all the pieces I have inspected, there are none where the silver has worn through, all knife blades are fully intact within handles. All in all, very good condition. The canteen itself appears in good condition with no chips in the lacquer, only a very minor dent to the back right corner. This is an auction of preowned and antique items. Many items are of an age or nature which precludes their being in perfect condition and you should expect general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
