A Victorian Regimental silver Albert pattern pickle/chutney fork, The 20th Madras Native Infantry, by William Eaton, London 1842, the terminal with the Regimental badge, length 14.5cm, approx. weight 1.25oz. In World War I the Regiment was involved in the Mesopotamia campaign. In 1921 it was disbanded.
An early Victorian regimental silver Fiddle and Thread pattern table fork, 1st Madras European Regiment, (East India Company's Regiment), by William Eaton, London 1839, the terminal with the regimental badge, length 19.8cm, approx. weight 2.8oz. The regiment became the 1st Madras Fusiliers in 1858, and when it transferred to the British Army in 1862, it became the 102nd Regiment (Royal Madras Fusiliers). In 1882 it amalgamated with the 103rd Royal Bombay Fusiliers to form The Royal Dublin Fusiliers.

A George III Irish Regimental silver Fiddle pattern table fork, Kilkenny Militia, by Samuel Neville, Dublin 1808, the reverse of the terminal with the Regimental badge, length 20.2cm, approx. weight 2.4oz. Raised in 1793 in Kilkenny and often referred to as the City of Kilkenny Militia. In 1855, the Regiment was re-designated The Kilkenny Fusiliers Regiment. In 1881 the Regiment became the 5th Bn The Royal Irish Regiment. It disbanded in 1922.

Raised in 1793 at Derry. In 1855 it became the Londonderry Light Infantry Militia. In 1882, The Regiment was converted to an artillery unit part of 9 Brigade North Irish Division (Artillery) until 1909 when it was disbanded.

H31489Described as an ‘entirely new 350cc sports twin with a brilliant performance that is smooth fast and easy to handle’. It was a descendant of the Twenty-One but with a specification similar to the well-known Tiger 100. This lovely looking outfit has been well cared for and enjoyed by its enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner. It was fully restored in 1983 and the sidecar was added in 2015; work included an expensive leading link fork conversion to enhance its handling as a combination. Comes with - a current V5C, an old buff log book, all the parts required to return it to a solo motorcycle, rack, panniers and top box, spare wheels, manuals etc.**Catalogue amendment**The mudguard for the sidecar was damaged prior to collection. 1950 Excelsior Super-Autobyk 98cc Two SpeedReg. no. SSV 915Frame no. AX2P996Engine no. 4328In 1937 Excelsior produced the Autobyke using the Villiers Junior engine, an unsprung frame and a small fuel tank. In 1940 the Deluxe model was introduced, still using the very popular Villiers engine but with a larger fuel tank, engine covers and a sprung fork. The next major change came in 1947 with the introduction of the Super-Autobyk. This did not use the Villiers power unit but instead used Excelsior’s own 98cc Goblin engine that incorporated a 2-speed gearbox. This along with an Excelsior Spryt-engined model would take them to 1956 when both models would be dropped from the Excelsior range.This Excelsior Super Autobyk has in the past been completely restored to a very high standard and for the last 14 years has been kept as part of a large collection.Comes with – a current V5C, some old MOTs and a photocopied Villiers Mark 2F operating and spare parts manual.

Drawer I contains twelve silver forks approx 740 gms, twelve silver bladed fruit knives with mother of pearl handles; twelve silver pronged fruit forks with mother of pearl handles; twelve teaspoons approx 317 gms, eight coffee spoons with gilded bowls approx 185 gms, twelve bone handled bread knives. Drawer II contains twelve large forks approx 1028 gms, twelve large knives (not silver bladed), carving set comprising large carving knife, medium carving knife, large fork, medium fork, steel; four salt spoons, two mustard spoons, approx 59.3 gms, sauce ladles 108.7 gms.
