Features a solid cast two tiered painted base‘ The Anglepoise - Made by Herbert Terry & Sons ’ to the front of the fork. The original conical shade with cooling holes along the back. Needs retightening with some wear to the enamel. Overall a good example. Fully extended it measures approx 92cm high.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Europe, Smooth, two-stage, octagonal and round, 28 mm cal. barrel, with acanthus leaves at the girdle and slightly bell-mouthed nozzle. Breech with piston fitted with spark arrester. Backward spring lock. Working mechanics. Heavy wooden half stock with handle carved with plates. Brass mounts. Complete with mounting gun-fork. length 197 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 20th Century provenance: Scotland, Strong, straight, single-and-false-edged blade with two fullers and wavy decorations at the back. Brass ring nut decorated with thistles in relief. Chiselled wooden grip with knots and small studs. Big brass pommel engraved with narrowing base and a big amber carved stone at the end. Wooden scabbard covered with leather. Smooth brass hilts. Complete with its combined small knife and fork, worked en suite. With the Sporran, brass upper part decorated with a deer's head, inscription 'Guidich N Rich' and bandeaus with the names of the locations where the regiment had been. Long, white horsehair at the lower part, with two black horsehair pendants held by engraved brass ring nuts. Red leather on the back side with bags and two loops. Fine ensemble. length 42.5 cm.
dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Germany, Straight, single-and false-edged blade, with wide fuller at the center and thin groove at the back, engraved with a deer, wild boar, stars and spirals at the first part. Massive, gilt-bronze hilt decorated with spirals and small palms in bas-relief. Wooden scabbard with leather covering (missing chape) complete with cutleries (spoon, fork and knife) with grips worked en suite, the spoon made of bronze. Bronze cap and hook with remains od gilding and decorated en suite. length 65 cm.
dating: 18th/19th Century provenance: Indonesia, Bronze, two-stage barrel. Octagonal for the first half, and then round. Nozzle with wide moulded muzzle, provided with foresight. The girdle and the edges with cartouches of triangular shape, decorated with floral motifs in relief. Handles worked as fish. Sighted breech. Cylindrical cascabel knot. Complete with gun-fork for a gunwale. length 115 cm.

Moderate denting, pitting and heavy scratching to the handles. Some wear to the engravings and hallmarks, but all are legible. Moderate bending to the tips of the tines. Some scratching and wear to the blades. Box is heavily worn and scratched to the exterior. Silk lining has large puncture marks where the fork tines meet the cover. Heavy staining, wear and loss to the interior.Boxed forks and knives: Good order. Each pieces shows light to moderate degree of denting to the terminals of the handles around the shells. All handles show moderate scratching and wear. Decoration and hallmarks to handles is worn, but is still legible. Moderate scratching to the blades and tines. Varying degrees of wear to the tips of the knife blades, ranging from minor to heavy. Hallmarks to blades and tines are crisp. Box shows heavy scratching and wear to the exterior. Lining has a moderate degree of wear - leather lining to cover is coming away slightly at the edges. Some wear to the silk and velvet linings, but largely in good order.
