2006 Porsche 911 997 Carrera S ConvertibleReg. no. AY06 KLEChassis no. WP0ZZZ99Z6S762682Engine no. 68613594Transmission: ManualMileage: 100,482 (3,500 Since Engine Rebuild)MOT: January 2024 The Porsche 911 is known for being the everyday sports car with people able to use it to commute to work or take to the shops but, at the same time, enjoy a weekend drive or a cruise across Europe. With its unique rear engine, flat six drivetrain and unchanged shape since its first generation, they have been popular for good reason, for decades. The 997 generation was produced from 2004 – 2013 and was well received by both the public and motoring journalists worldwide. It has a sleek look with the headlight shape giving a nod to older generations of 911. The 997 shared just a third of its parts with the previous generation of 996 and as a result felt very different to drive. The Carrera S version like this example, had improved suspension, larger brakes and a 3.8 flat six producing 350bhp pushing the car to 62mph in just 4.2 seconds and the usual German speed limiter of 155mph.Having been part of a collection for a number of years, this manual, 997 convertible, has been very well looked after and dry stored with its current owner. It also shows just two previous owners on the V5C document. The black leather interior with silver trim presents well, whilst externally the body sits in black with black roof, silver 19” lobster fork alloy wheels and the red Porsche brakes standing out behind them. The car received a complete engine rebuild in 2018 by renowned Porsche specialists Hartech to the tune of £8,500 with a complete run down of the build included in the car’s paperwork, it has only done 3,500 miles since. Original Porsche manuals are present, as is service history and other paperwork including parts receipts and old MOT’s.These are fantastic cars. They sound superb, have a really nice manual gearbox and go as well as they should. Any new potential owner will not be disappointed with this example.Estimate: £22,000 – 24,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. 1956 Francis Barnett Falcon 74 197ccReg. no. XHU 787Frame no. WM 80212Engine no. 070B 66058After the war Francis Barnett concentrated on making good quality small engined lightweight motorbikes for the mass market. The Falcon 74 used the reliable 197cc Villiers 2-stroke engine and with its swinging arm frame it handled well, was economical and reliable.Prior to being purchased by the present owner this bike had previously spent many years in dry storage where although it was not run, the engine was turned over, using the kickstart and the bike was moved around to prevent things seizing up. Since purchasing the bike as a winter project, the current owner has sympathetically restored it using as many of its original components as possible. The bike was fully stripped down, media blasted and repainted, a new wiring loom fitted, electrics updated including a remote coil, a new battery, a fused lighting/ignition system and a separately fused charging circuit. The fork seals were renewed, and the bike now starts, runs and rides nicely giving any perspective new owner a sound base to either further restore to show condition or just use and enjoy.Comes with – a current V5C.Estimate: £1,300 – 1,600To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. KZ650BE 017771The Kawasaki Z650 was a scaled down version of the very successful Z1 and shares not only a great deal of its looks but also like its big brother, has excellent handling and performance. Its 64 bhp engine was capable of 120mph and although the single front disc was adequate for the machine’s performance, Kawasaki supplied the bikes with the right fork leg ready equipped to bolt on a second caliper to enhance the braking even further if required. This motorcycle was previously registered in the City of Toronto in Canada until 2021 when it was imported to the UK. It is unrestored and has retained many of its original parts.
