1959 Triumph Cub 200cc trials motorcycle, purchased by the vendor in 1970. With buff logbook, registration number 710 MPC though since then the frame was replaced after the original was bent and likewise the engine has been changed. The engine now has electronic ignition fitted and the bike comes with spares including engine cases, barrel and front fork legs
THE CYCLING CLUB HOUSE: 1950's HETCHINS 'CURLY' EXPERTO CREDE PHASE II ROAD BICYCLE, frame number H24706, burgundy frame with part-chromed stays, complete bicycle with the following untested components: Omas headset, Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs, Rigida rims, Campagnolo QR skewers, Weinmann Type 730 side-pull brakes, Modolo Speedy levers, Milremo Competition stem, unknown bars, unknown seatpost and saddle, Shimano downtube shifters, Campagnolo Strada 170mm cranks, Campagnolo front derailleur, Simplex Vallee rear derailleur, unknown pedals, Campagnolo toe-clips, frame measures 23" centre of BB to top of seat-tube and approx. 23" centre to centre top tube actualProvenance: deceased estate South Wales, apparently bought in the 1960's from a cycle store in South London/Kent bordersComments: our comments are going to focus on the frame and we're pleased to find the seatpost is free in the frame: the paintwork is in remarkable condition given the age with just the odd chip to the seat-tube, stays and fork, the top-tube has a few scratches, the chromework is lightly pitted, largely to the forks, but overall the frame is in staggeringly good, and is likely to have received some restoration over the years. The components are obviously unchecked but appear to be complete, the wheels turn freely but there is a little lateral play in the rear. The bicycle was delivered with later mudguards which have been removed, but will be supplied if required
White Star Line A silver plate two handed tureen; six forks and seven knives; four ashtrays; three tea spoons; all early 20th century, mostly with the company logo.
