A mid-19th century mercury cistern stick barometer in a mahogany case with a domed and moulded pediment, rectangular trunk with carved side pieces, three-inch silvered convex mirror and carved decoration to the rounded base, two register plates with twin rack and pinion verniers and predictions, measuring barometric air pressure from 27 to 31 inches, dial inscribed � Dollond, London�, rectangular boxed snail tail mercury thermometer recording the temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, with bevelled glass to both the register plates and thermometer.H 100 cm***Dollond were without doubt one of the finest and most innovative firms of instrument makers from the mid-18th century until the early 20th century. The firm were instrument makers to William IV and Queen Victoria and exhibited at the Great Exhibition in 1851.
A brass three drawer telescope, by Winter, Newcastle upon Tyne, 45cm long, together with a holbsteric barometer, 16cm high, and a French thermometer in the form of a carytid, 57.5cm high (3)Condition report: Stains to the leather of the telescope, with some surface wear. Surface wear and loss of finish to the barometer. Loss of glass thermometer and signs of woodworm, with general wear and losses.

Eight-day 20th century brass cased "Schatz Royal Mariner" bulkhead clock, with a 6" dial, Roman numerals and minute track, bells on/off control, black spade hands with a brass bezel and flat bevelled glass, twin train spring driven balance wheel movement sounding the ships watches on a bell. With a corresponding and matching Schatz open dial compensated aneroid barometer, with weather predictions and measuring barometric pressure in inches and millibars, with a curved spirit thermometer measuring temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, steel indicating hand and brass recording hand.
19th/20th century model of a steam engine, incorporating a time piece to the cab, a barometer to the boiler, a thermometer in the stack and a small compass to the top of the stack. Mounted on rails on a polished black slate base, 47cm long, 23cm wide, 45cm high.CONDITION REPORTS:The steam engine is in good condition it just requires cleaning, tarnished in areas and some areas with heavy rust patriculary the wheel bars/rods - see additional images. No guarantee on working condition, the clock appears to be overwound.

Winter, Newcastle upon Tyne, the silvered barometer dial under thermometer, the broken arched pediment with winged mask and swags under, the main body with two classical female figures, one holding a parasol the other a racket, cornucopias to base, with engraved presentation plaque, 34cms wide, 95cms high.
