MAGGI, EXETER A SHERATON STYLE WHEEL BAROMETER the 8 inch engraved silvered dial having a blued steel hand and a heavy cast brass bezel above which is a silvered dial thermometer, the mahogany case inlaid with floral and shell decoration typical of this style of barometer, with a Classical pediment to the top and boxwood edgelining, height 95cm. *M. Maggi (sometimes spelled Maggy) is recorded as working in Exeter from before 1825 until 1850.
