A French barometer, clock and thermometer, in a carved and stained case, with foliage, scroll and column decoration, the aneroid barometer inscribed L'Hermitte, 33, Rue des Drapiers, Le Harve, above an enamlled thermometer, to a twin barrel clock stamped Marti et Cie, striking on a gong, 33in (84cm) high.
M. MAGGI, EXETER A SHERATON STYLE WHEEL BAROMETER the 8 inch engraved silvered dial having a blued steel hand and a heavy cast brass bezel above which is a silvered dial thermometer, the mahogany case inlaid with floral and shell decoration typical of this style of barometer, with a Classical pediment to the top and boxwood edgelining, height 95cm. *M. Maggi (sometimes spelled Maggy) is recorded as working in Exeter from before 1825 until 1850.

LUADRI A MAHOGANY WHEEL BAROMETER the eight inch engraved and silvered dial having a blued steel hand and brass pointer, with the setting knob below, and a cast brass bezel, a silvered hygrometer to the top, below which is set into the trunk a silvered dial thermometer and with a level to the base engraved with the maker's name 'G. Luadri, 5, St. Johns Lane', the mahogany case with a swan neck pediment to the top and tapered sides, height 106cm.
A Victorian rosewood stick barometer, with ivory scales signed CHADBURN BROS SHEFFIELD, REGISTERED NO3980 Oct 14th 1841 No154 and inscribed TEN AM YESTERDAY 10AM TO DAY, with twin verniers and mercury thermometer, in figured case with arched top and bulbshaped cistern, 92cm h. Rather dusty behind the glass and the lid of the cistern an old turned and stained wood replacement. The thermometer original but broken. Apart from these faults in excellent and entirely original condition, charged with mercury.
A George III mahogany thermometer, the arched brass foliate engraved scale of 10 to 130 degrees signed at the head Saml Sanders Maker beneath a ribbon inscribed Fahrenheit's Thermometer within an egg-and-dart fillet and break-arch case, the fluted base carved with a shell and acanthus leaves, 65cm h. The cornice lacking but in otherwise excellent original and unrestored condition, the tube undamaged and charged with mercury
