A late 19th Century Oak cased Desk Compendium, the scrolling case surmounted by a cast gilt metal spread eagle, to carved foliate decoration and flared plinth base, centred with a porcelain backed twin scale mercury thermometer, and flanked by a 3 ½” Roman enamel dial with outside minute track and blued steel hands, and opposed by a matching barometer with scale of 26-31, height 12 ¾”
