A 19th Century mahogany and inlaid cased barometer with alcohol thermometer, the silvered dial inscribed "Hitch Maker London" CONDITION REPORTS There are chips and losses throughout especially to the top left hand section of the cornice. There has been a repair to the left hand side edge of the main part of the barometer. The brass mount is coming away. Unknown if working. There is discolouration to the steel thermometer back and similarly, although not as obvious to the barometer plate, there is a large scratch at the base section of the case and in need of a good clean. There are some losses to the veneer on the edges as well as general wear and tear, surface scratches etc - see images for further details. Unable to post in-house.
