A MID 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY MERCURY WHEEL BAROMETER, the damp/dry dial with convex glass, the spirit thermometer with silvered scale, the silvered dial with convex glass, the spirit level inscribed "Hennessy Swansea" on the backplate, the case with swan neck pediment. Height 36". Dial Diameter 6.5".
A Fine Mid 19th Century French Wheel Barometer by Cappy Paris. The diagonally veneered case enriched with applied gilt bronze mounts of scrolling foliage. The 7 1/2 inch (19 cm) white enamel dial signed Cappy Paris and graduated in French inches with an adjustable S-shaped gilt metal pointer. The long thermometer scale also signed and framed in entwined gilt branches, 44 1/2 ins (113 cms) overall in length.
An early 19th Century mahogany cased stick barometer and thermometer by F. Pelegrino, with exposed mercury filled tube and alcohol thermometer, silvered scale with adjustable vernier, the case with angled pediment and inlaid with chequered stringings and with turned cistern cover, 37ins high.
