A mahogany stick barometer, signed Manticha & Co, circa 1820, broken arched pediment, exposed mercury tube with a single vernier silvered dial signed, thermometer tube, barber pole stringing inlaid borders, 97cm high20.04.17, Half of the pediment is missing, dial front door frame is loose and the veneers have come off and are lifting, case with small scratches and dents, later cistern cover is loose with one screw missing, dial is discoloured and needs silvering, mercury tube with air bubbles.
An early 19th century mahogany cased wheel barometer, signed J Hicks, 7 Redcross Square, London, with hygrometer, thermometer, clock, 12" silvered dial and a level below, the case with boxwood stringing and swan neck, 124cm high. *See clocks and watches proviso. CR - Case appears in fair condition. Later adjuster, clock movement not tested, barometer movement not tested, clock door cover does not stay closed. Some attention needed.

W Healey including a framed photograph of war time Russia with a signed menu card for the Hungaria restaurant dated 1942, a framed photograph of Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill and other images of Mr Healey with industrialists and inspecting a snow covered tank, together with a leather desk barometer, thermometer, clock and calendar by Abercrombie and Fitch and an inlaid ashtray.Mr H.W Healey was MD of Parnall aircraft which provided the power operated gun turrets for Britain's first line bombing aircraft. He was also responsible for siting factories across the world and a leading executive of the gramophone company.
