A Troughton and Simms brass cased pocket drum sextant, 19th century, signed as per title by silvered scale, partial leather case, 7.5cm long, together with two 19th century brass cased pocket barometers by 'Hennessey, Swansea' and 'Sayer and Bird, Norwich', and a 19th century brass cased pocket barometer compendium, with compass and thermometer to the reverse, in a leather case (4). 12
An oak stick barometer, signed J.Staniland, Malton, circa 1870, visible mercury tube, single vernier ivory dial signed, thermometer tube, cistern cover with a ivory plaque inscribed model barometer, 91cm high 08.12.16, Case with a small crack to the side, dial with three screws missing, wooden bracket to the top side of the tube is cracked, vernier with one small crack, cistern cover is loose, mercury tube with visible air bubbles.
An oak stick barometer, signed J White, Glasgow, circa 1850, carved pediment, concealed mercury tube with a twin ivory vernier dial, thermometer tube, carved cistern cover, 105cm high 07.12.16, Case with scratches and dents in parts, ivory dials are discoloured, two screws are missing from both dials, thermometer dial with one small crack to the top side, no mercury is visible in the tube and needs filling.
A mahogany carved ship's stick barometer, signed Jones, Gray & Keen, Strand, Liverpool, circa 1850, carved case with a single vernier dial signed, thermometer box, brass cistern, 91cm high 08.12.16, Pediment is missing, mercury tube is missing, ship's wall bracket gimbal is missing, top thermometer tube bracket is broken, cistern cover is discoloured, barometer in need of restoration.
A 19th century Patent aneroid barometer (without mercury or any fluid), silvered dial also with Fahrenheit thermometer, diameter 12cm, the barometer formely belonged to the stepfather of Hugh Seymour McDonnell, the fourth Earl of Antrim (1812-1855), presented in fitted box with plaque to top inscribed 'Constanter et Fideliter', sold with related documentation and research, some with handwritten notes (af). CONDITION REPORT Generally nicely presented, but there are four cracks to the glass face.

Brass bulk head type clock with coloured sectioned face, bulk head type French Maxant barometer and a brass thermometer all mounted on mahogany panel. (barometer tube broken). CONDITION REPORT: Clock: no battery inside, very rusty. We do not test if working. Maker: Diehl electro, Made in Germany. Diameter across deep part of case (excluding mounting plate): 16cm approximately.
