Mounted on a wooden coloumn with mahogany veneer and ebony on the profile. With chased and gilded bronze decoration. The barometer is signed: "par l'ingenieur Gohin opticien Brebeté/Rue Neuve St Eustache nº 24 á Paris". The lower recipient for the mercury is made in cut glass. 113 x 20 x 7 cm.
