A collection of 19th century and later pictures including a map of Warwickshire published by Henry Teesdale, small collection of 19th century botanical engravings and topographical views including two engravings of Badminton, signed black and white etching by Anthony Hill - Babbicombe (sic), a 19th century framed invoice from Dauncey & Turner - Wickwar, dated 1880, etc, together with a mahogany framed mirror in the Georgian manner and a reproduction Thames Nauticalia brass cased clock/barometer/thermometer, on a wooden plaque (collection)
An early 20th century mahogany and inlaid aneroid barometer, signed 'A. Franks, Manchester', with broken scroll pediment, over twin columns enclosing a mercury thermometer (with coil design to the bottom), the case with scroll edges, the inlaid decoration depicting Classical figures in different weather-related scenes, 79 cm x 29 cm.Condition report: The case has a very slight shrinkage crack on the right-hand side. Near the area where the carved scroll is situated.The register plate could do with cleaning.I can't test the barometer function as I don't have a big enough bag to put it in.On the whole, the barometer is in good cosmetic order with no splits or missing inlay or mouldings.The glass is intact
A Danish rosewood and silver-mounted notepad and letter opener, 1960s, designed by Axel Salomonsen, the letter knife with a stainless steel blade, the notepad marked on silver badge 'AS Denmark Sterling', the letter opener incised 'A-S Denmark', the letter opener 26cm long, the notepad 19 x 11cm, together with a pen tidy calendar, designed by Ole Jorgensen for Ole Jorgensen Creative Workshop Inc., red and white plastic, with rotational segments displaying days and dates, 10cm high, and a Kenneth Grange aluminium desk thermometer, 17.2cm long (4)Condition report: The rosewood pieces with minor wear. The perpetual calendar with some discolouration to the plastic. CITES A10 no. 603097/01
A quantity of Victorian and later kitchenalia, mostly wooden items including painted spoon rack and utensils, thermometer, breadboard, shortbread moulds, silver teaspoons, and other pastry working utensils etc, together with an oak hanging wall shelf with integrated cupboard, serving tray, aneroid wheel barometer, and a large basket (one shelf and some loose items). All of it used with expected wear and scratches. No notable damage.
