An early 20th century hydrometer - in a mahogany box marked 'Kemp Town Brewery', containing float, weights and glass beaker, together with four other boxed hydrometers, a thermometer and two books of spirit tables. (8) Note: Kemp Town Brewery was based in Brighton and eventually closed in 1964.
