Pidsley was also a keen amateur photographer and while there are inevitable out of focus and overexposed shots the archive contains many notable pictures of scenes taken during the final year of the war relating closely to the broadcasts of BBC reporters whom Pidsley followed and worked with during this time. The archive was acquired from Pidsley`s family by J.B. Nunn and subsequently sold to Rob Clayton. This has since been sold again and the current vendor offers the complete archive with full worldwide copyright in the negatives and reproductions therefrom to be transferred to the buyer of the lot.
