1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Convertible with HardtopRegistration no. GBW 369VChassis no. 10704422057240Odometer reading: 90,900MOT expiry date: 17/08/2021*Low mileage with some history*Good paintwork and interior trim*A stylish sports GT that is bound to appreciateThe R107 SL and SLCs were Mercedes-Benz's second longest-running single series after the G-Wagen, being made from 1971 through 1989. Undeniably stylish and chic, the R107 has started to be appreciated by classic collectors and this 450SL, with its lusty V8 engine and three-speed automatic transmission remains a wonderful touring car. Finished in metallic red with black leather interior with very 1970s period grey cloth inserts, it can be best described as sound and usable with room for improvement. With its low mileage and hard and soft tops, this is an iconic sportster that is also MOT and road tax free; although it has a fresh test certificate with no advisory items. 2006 Bentley Continental GTRegistration no. SEW 550Chassis no. SCBCE63WX6C037665Engine no. 019742Odometer reading. 32,000MOT expiry date. 14/06/2021*One owner from new and in the best colour combination*Fully serviced regularly with full service and MOT history*Always garaged and in outstanding conditionThe Bentley Continental GT was the Volkswagen Group's first flying B car and what a magnificent debut it was. Launched in 2003, the company really excelled itself - in a daring riposte to BMW and Mercedes-Benz's V12 engines, the Continental GT boasted a W12 motor with twin turbochargers and no less than 48 valves. A development of the technology that the Group had learned with VR6 engines but engineered and manufactured in Great Britain, the W12 is a masterpiece of compact design and a pinnacle of smoothness and sophistication. The fine GT that we present here has a most fitting registration number - SEW 550 - it really does run like a beautifully balanced 550 bhp sewing machine! With just one owner from new and in generally very good condition throughout, this GT has always been garaged, by night and day, when not on the road. It has been little used, hence the low mileage, but has been serviced and cosseted in accordance with its calendar requirements as well as by mileage covered. It was last inspected and serviced in November 2018 and has covered very little mileage since, and all the service records and history are available to view.Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 81/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC AMG 6.0 'Wide Body'Registration no. Not UK registeredChassis no. WDB1260451A511881Odometer reading: 57,400MOT Expiry: 01/03/2022 *Incredibly rare 1 of just 26 believed Wide Body AMGs*Beautiful Blue-Black metallic paint*The pinnacle of Mercedes performance and luxury The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC AMG Wide Body is one of the most iconic AMG vehicles ever built. Based on the standard 560 SEC, the AMG featured the same 300bhp 5.6-litre V8, but bored out to 6.0-litres – boosting the power to 385bhp. This additional power helped propel the car from 0-60 in under 6 seconds – a phenomenal figure at the time for a vehicle of this stature. Not only that, but the AMG model was also fitted with a bespoke 'Wide Body' aero kit, stiffened suspension, larger disc brakes, and much more. Inside, the AMG was also equipped with electronically adjustable Recaro seats, additional walnut wood trim, an AMG specific steering wheel, and chrome door sills. It is the opinion of many that the 560 SEC AMG was, and still ,is the ultimate AMG Mercedes. Built in October 1989, the example shown here was originally ordered new from a dealership in Munich, Germany. Various optional extras were fitted to the car from factory such as automatic climate control, a fire extinguisher and heated front seats. The car is in very good condition inside and out, and features the correct Blue-Black metallic paint and black leather interior. Overall the car runs well and is in very good condition, and comes with a good history file. Imported to the UK by its enthusiast owner in 2017, the AMG has sat in his private collection virtually unused. Benefitting from a recent service and MOT the AMG is ready to use. The official production figures for the Wide Body AMGs are unknown, but believed to be just 26 - the cars are exceptionally rare and difficult to come by. This is a prime opportunity to own one of the greatest Mercedes AMGs ever produced.Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 78/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300d 'Adenauer' LimousineRegistration no. 440 XUGChassis no. 189.010.22.002641Odometer reading: 63,485MoT expiry date: exempt*The last word in automotive luxury in its day*Automatic transmission*Rare right-hand drive model*Superb history file with thousands spentIntroduced in 1951, the Mercedes-Benz 300 owed the design of its independently suspended oval-tube chassis to the 170S of 1949, and would later provide the mechanical basis for the incomparable 300 SL sports car. Additional refinements appropriate for the company's top-of-the-range luxury saloon included an improved steering mechanism and remote electrical control of the rear suspension ride height. Initially developing 115bhp (DIN), the 3.0-litre, overhead-camshaft six-cylinder engine was increased in power for succeeding models. Other improvements included larger brakes (with servo-assistance from 1954); optional power steering; and three-speed automatic transmission as standard on the 300d. Custom built by Mercedes-Benz's most experienced craftsmen, the conservatively styled 300 was luxuriously appointed and trimmed with materials of the highest quality. Fast and elegant, it was one of very few contemporary vehicles capable of carrying six passengers in comfort at sustained high speeds. It was the car of choice among West German government officials, and throughout Europe and the USA was widely favoured by businessmen, financiers, and politicians. Indeed, 'Adenauer' became the 300 saloon/limousine's unofficial model name, after German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, its most famous customer. This 'Adenauer' formerly belonged to Sir Freddie Laker. There are numerous bills on file amounting to vast sums spent on the vehicle, which include a full respray and interior trimming. which is vendor-rated as in very good condition and comes with an old-style logbook, article trimmings featuring the car and various model related manufacturers brochures/manuals.Footnotes:Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click hereVendor Score Total: 61/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEb 'Fintail' SaloonRegistration no. 923 YNYChassis no. 111-041-200S8721Odometer reading: 21,693 milesMOT Expiry: Exempt*Rare UK RHD example*Low mileage*Manual *Sold for restorationMercedes-Benz unveiled the 220SEb at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1959. The SEb featured an elegant design, offering a wider radiator shell, wrap around windscreen, wider rear window, vertically positioned headlamps and discrete tailfins. The high purchase price meant that relatively few were sold in the UK, most with the automatic transmission. This example is still wearing its original Havana Brown paintwork, and is not only right-hand drive, but also a manual. Inside the car retains many original features but will require work. The car is in need of a full restoration inside and out. The engine starts and holds good oil pressure, but will require work to get moving having been in storage for many years. The W111 Fintail is a desirable classic, and this example offers the opportunity to create a new lease of life for the car. Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click hereFootnotes:Vendor Score Total: 38/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH.
