1994 Mercedes-Benz W124 E220 Convertible AutoMake: Mercedes Model: E220 Convertible Year: 1994Mileage: 90955VIN: WDB1240622C065670Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L312ULGTransmission: AutomaticThis 1994 W124 E220 convertible has been a project car for eight years. During that time, it's had Brembo brakes fitted, along with vented discs. Parking sensors have also been added and a new dark blue hood installed, along with Xenon headlamps and two-piece alloy wheels. Under the bonnet, the 2199cc engine has had its cylinder head skimmed, valves polished, and new stem seals and gaskets fitted. In the opinion of the vendor, all that is needed now to make a 'fine car' is the interior upgrading. The odometer shows 90,955 miles, although this is unwarranted. Because the car has been off the road while being modified, its last MoT expired in December 2013. Please note that the roof is currently inoperative. 1966 Mercedes Benz 220 SE Auto Cabriolet Make: Mercedes Model: 220 SE Year: 1966Mileage: 30587VIN: 11102322079111Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: FUN484DTransmission: automatic Nicknamed Gloria, this 1966 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet was acquired by the vendor in 2000, from a family cousin who owned it from 1981. Prior to that, it's believed that the car was purchased new for use by the chairman of ICI. The present owner has used the car for trips abroad including France and Malta. And it was in Malta, during the early part of the 21st century, that it was restored according to the history file; a task not without incident, as the gearbox parts were stolen en route from Scotland to Malta, and the subsequent delay to the rebuild resulted in Malta customs authorities threatening to impound the car. There's an eye-watering amount of paperwork (albeit only dating back to the 1990s), showing lots of care and attention for even minor issues, and a great deal of expenditure. Some of the more recent jobs involved an engine tune-up in May of this year, rectification of a hot indicator stalk, and new padding for the driver's seat. The selection of MoTs (and other paperwork) suggest the current indicated mileage of 130,587 is genuine. The last MoT expired in April 2019; the car was at 127,710 miles when that test was undertaken. The files also contain the original owner's manual, relevant magazine articles, parts lists and diagrams, old tax discs and photos taken throughout the car's life. The Mercedes-Benz is now in need of some work, with bubbling apparent on both headlamp peaks, the rear quarters, and around the rear wheel arches, most significantly the nearside one. See our pictures for more detail. Inside, there's sun damage to the top of the wooden dash - a common issue with these cars - plus wear to the black leather seats. 1974 Mercedes R107 350 SL Fitted with 3.0 dieselMake: MercedesModel: 350 SLYear: 1974Mileage: 136300VIN: 10704322011671Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: JIW6336Transmission: manualThis is a Mercedes-Benz R107 SL with a difference. While it started life in 1974 as a 350SL, it was fitted with an OM617 3.0-litre five-cylinder diesel engine and five-speed manual transmission from a contemporary W123 saloon some years ago, with the conversion being carried out by Ken Dalton of 'Kensbenz' fame. These motors are regarded as among the most reliable ever constructed, with over 600,000 miles between rebuilds quite common. The odometer reads 136,300 miles on this car, although that is not warranted and, presumably, includes the days when it had its original petrol engine. Recent work undertaken includes a re-cored radiator, replacement rear brake calipers and discs, and new front subframe mountings and anti-roll bar bushes. The vendor describes the car as 'generally presentable, although it could be improved. It also has a small dent to the nearside rear wing', He also reports the interior as 'pretty good, but has some wear to the driver's door card' while the soft-top is 'fully-functional, however, as it is original to the car, it is in need of refurbishment'. The SL will come with its existing numberplate. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 29TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1982 Mercedes C123 280 CE Auto Make: Mercedes Model: 280 Cew AutoYear: 1982Mileage: 99421VIN: 12305322025447Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: OJM922XTransmission: Automatic When new in 1982, this smart Mercedes-Benz coupe, in Silver Blue Metallic with Blue leather, was fitted with the options of anti-lock brakes, self-levelling suspension, alloy wheels and a radio, at a total cost of £17,723.20. Its first owner, a doctor from Reading, kept a comprehensive notebook of all work carried out from his first day of custodianship. He kept it until 2007, by which point the mileage was 83,300. The new owner decided to keep the book going, recording new front wings fitted in April 2008, the alloy wheels refurbished in May 2008, and the leather seats recovered in June 2008. When the car passed to its third owner in 2013, situated in Galway, the records continued through to October 2017 before petering out. Between the three owners, a lot of money was spent on maintaining the Mercedes; if it needed a job doing, it was promptly done, usually by a Mercedes specialist. All of this handwritten information - and more - is confirmed by an extensive and well-organised history folder, with bills, MoTs (and Irish equivalents) and tax discs. The vehicle came back to the UK in 2019. The recorded mileage of 99,421 is backed up by the history, and the car is MoT'd until June 2022. Spare keys are included. The car remains in excellent condition, inside and out, with only light wear to the leather seats inside. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 11TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1969 Rolls Royce Silver ShadowMake: Rolls Royce Model: Silver Shadow Year: 1969Mileage: 14039VIN: SRH6849Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: SKR493GTransmission: automatic Purchased by our vendor in 2012 and used sparingly since. During this time the Rolls Royce has been maintained by the well respected firm of Hillier Hill with invoices for servicing and repairs totalling over £13,000. Recent works include a brake overhaul in December 2020. The V5 records that it was colour changed to red in 1978. The car comes with two service books, the original factory build sheets showing that it left the factory finished in the special order colour of Mercedes brown with a Beige hide interior and was supplied via Jack Barclay Ltd to Lionel Moss at HR Owen. A copy invoice on file shows that the cost of the car was £7,257 after a 15% discount had been applied. 14,039 recorded miles PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 26TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1982 Mercedes W123 230E AutoMake: MercedesModel: 230EYear: 1983Mileage: 164600VIN: WDB12322322099558Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: XEG858XTransmission: automatic Purchased new in Holland as a tax free right-hand drive UK specification car by a Wing Commander in the RAF. UK registered by him in 1983. The Mercedes has remained in his ownership ever since and is only for sale as he is relinquishing driving. A large history folder comes with the car including the original Dutch purchase invoice, Dutch service records, 1982 Ziebart guarantee and UK service invoices. 164,600 warranted miles Please note, the V5 states 'Customs Restricted' - for advice contact HM Customs, presumably due to the fact it was ordered new, tax free. Potential bidders should make their own enquiries into this and neither ACA or our vendor assume any liability on this matter. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 18TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1984 Mercedes W123 230EMake: MercedesModel: 230EYear: 1984Mileage: 68763VIN: 12322324203764Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: B495BOJTransmission: manualWith a low mileage of 68,763 miles, this Nautic Blue example of one of the most resilient Mercedes-Benzes ever built has been well-looked after by its three owners. One owner even went so far to keep a pocket book of its adventures, starting in 2004 at 25,502 miles, and continuing through to 2010 and 43,949 miles. This included all stops for petrol and any maintenance carried out, with an overall 29mpg being noted, The vendor comments that the car has 'nice, straight bodywork' and is also 'excellent underneath'. The history folder includes 16 MoTs dating back to 2004, with the latest expiring in June 2022. There's also an extensive collection of tax discs and a write-up of the car's life; it was originally supplied new to a director of a stainless steel company in the West Midlands, who kept it until 1990, covering just 20,000 miles. But, when he retired, he took the car with him and kept it until 2004, albeit only taking the mileage up to 25,000. It then went to the owner who kept such a detailed notebook of its travels. Over the 10 years of his custodianship, he only added an additional 20,000 miles. Both owners reputedly kept the car in spacious, heated garages and regularly cleaned and polished it. There was also conscientious servicing as and when the car needed it. It was purchased by its last registered owner in 2017 from an independent classic Mercedes specialist. All invoices from 2004 onwards are present and correct. Recent bills are for new tyres in 2016 and 2018, and an exhaust centre section in 2018. The last service on record was in August 2019 at 68,000 miles. Four registered owners. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 6TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1986 Mercedes R107 560SL LHDMake: MercedesModel: 560SLYear: 1986Mileage: 38670VIN: WDBBA48D1GA042880Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: Contact AucitoneerTransmission: automaticThere were many engines variations throughout the Mercedes‑Benz R107 SL's long production run of 1971 to 1989, but at the top of the tree was the 5549cc V8 fitted in the 560 SL. Sadly for Mercedes‑Benz's more well‑heeled customers, this model wasn't available in Europe, being reserved for the USA, Canada, Japan and Australia. However, examples of this big‑engined SL have since been privately imported. This 1986 example is one such car, having only come to the UK in April of this year. Having been stored since 1996, its odometer records just 38,670 miles covered. The State of Tennessee certificate of title is included with the documentation, and NOVA import checks and taxes have been completed. UK registration to be applied for.
