Registration - A767 TBWChassis No. - 10704522026099M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 111,557This outstanding Mercedes-Benz 380SL is a delectable choice for those who love the exuberance of the 1980s. Resplendent in light ivory with a brilliantly complementary check brown interior, it exemplifies the best of Mercedes-Benz during this period. The subject of a comprehensive restoration, the vendor reports that it benefits from “in excess of £20,000 of expenditure” that includes a full respray and restoration in 2022. The invoices detail the work carried out, and are proof of “no expense spared”. They form part of two huge lever-arch files of invoices and old MOTs. Graded as in ‘excellent’ condition throughout, this Mercedes-Benz 380SL has an odometer reading 111,557 miles, and is powered by a 3.8-litre V8 engine paired with an automatic gearbox. Other period touches include Mercedes-Benz ‘Zebrano’ wood veneer and an original Blaupunkt radio/cassette player, and this soft-top convertible model also comes with an optional hard-top roof. Whether you prefer Dallas or Dynasty, this storied Mercedes-Benz, which has an MOT until November 2024, is a very desirable proposition indeed. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Series was first introduced back in 1954. SL stands for ‘Sport Leicht’, or sport light, and first appeared as a racing car in the early 1950s before it was decided to produce a road-going version too. Always a highly-specialist model that serves as the firm’s range-topping roadster, the Mercedes-Benz SL developed through multiple generations and this classic R107 series was introduced in 1971, running right through to 1989. It introduced a new design language along with cutting-edge safety features that showed Mercedes-Benz’ expertise in keeping its customers safe. One of the longest-running Mercedes-Benz derivatives, this 1983 380SL features a new aluminium V8 engine carried across from the S-Class luxury saloon. A TV icon of the 1980s, The R107 SL today is a very desirable classic Mercedes-Benz. In summary:· Desirable combination of exterior and interior colourscheme· Far-reaching restoration with invoices in excess of £20,000· Huge history file extends to two large lever-arch files

Registration - AUJ 743LChassis No. - LD.13095DM.O.T. - June 2024Odometer - 93,500 This Triumph Stag has the desirable manual transmission with overdrive and has undergone a comprehensive restoration in recent years, transitioning from its previous white hue to the glorious Mimosa yellow, and covering engine, body, and chassis refurbishments. The engine received upgrades such as an enhanced coolant tank, radiator, and electric fan.The interior is believed to be mostly original, with sympathetic restoration undertaken where necessary. Recent maintenance of this well looked-after motor car includes the installation of a new battery and tuning up the engine, including balancing the carburetors and fitting a new choke cable by specialist Stagbay. In May 2023, new sill covers were added to safeguard the inner sills, with rear cruise lights replacing the original Stag emblems (though the originals are retained). These modifications were made with originality in mind and can be reverted without causing any permanent damage. Invoices for parts utilised during the restoration are included in the large history file, which features a substantial stack of invoices dating back to 1978. Supporting documentation includes old MOTs dating back to 1983, suggesting that the displayed mileage of just over 93,500 is highly credible, although this cannot be warranted. According to the vendor, the car starts, drives, and handles exceptionally well, emitting a particularly pleasing exhaust note. Offered with an MOT valid until June this year, this vibrant Stag stands ready for an exhilarating summer ahead and is offered at No Reserve. The British-built Stag was designed to compete with the established SL models from Mercedes-Benz. Like the Triumph 2000 it was developed from, it was styled by Italian maestro Giovanni Michelotti and featured the monocoque construction, fully independent suspension, disc/drum brakes, power-assisted rack and pinion steering and driveline of that saloon. The powerplant, however, was an all-new OHC V8 unit of 2997cc, fed by a pair of Zenith Stromberg carburettors. The Stag received a warm reception at the time of launch in 1970. However, customers encountered problems concerned the camshaft drive chains, cylinder heads and gaskets, water pumps and waterways of the new engine. Restorers have long since solved such maladies. Production ceased in 1977 after some 25,877 examples had been made – c.9,000 of which have survived in the UK. In summary: • Original UK-supplied Stag with manual overdrive transmission • Finished in Mimosa Yellow with a Black interior • The subject of a recent restoration, offered at No Reserve

Offered for sale by the only the fourth keeper, who has had the keys for more than five years, ‘MK09 USS’ comes with original owner’s manual and documentation. The SLK 280 is considered by the vendor to be in ‘good’ condition in terms of bodywork, paintwork, and the interior, while the engine, transmission, and electrics are rated as ‘excellent’. Showing a credible 98,000 miles on the odometer, this SLK roadster can provide the right buyer with an ideal car for summer motoring. Mercedes-Benz’s love-affair with sportscars was expanded in 1995 with the smallest roadster the marque has made in its history – the SLK. The first-generation R170 brought a folding-hard top – dubbed the ‘Vario-Roof’ by Mercedes – at a time when most roadsters were being phased out, and those that weren’t, were offered with traditional a canvas roof. It quickly proved a success for Mercedes, pipping the likes of Porsche, Audi, and BMW in the executive roadster market. The first-generation was offered with a four-cylinder or V6 petrol engine – both either supercharged or naturally aspirated - and either five- or six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox. The R171 second-generation model arrived in 2004, offered with a supercharged four-cylinder engine, or V6 and V8 units. A faster folding time, and more compact folded proportions for the roof were brought in for the second-generation, and optional features included ‘AirScarf’ neck heaters, and remote operation of the folding roof. A facelift came along in 2008, with revised front bumper, LED lighting, improved interior design, and tweaked steering system. It was replaced in 2011, by the third-generation R172 SLK – and later SLC – lasting until 2020 when the model range was cut from the portfolio. · Well-presented example of the SLK-Class compact executive roadster. · Powered by a Mercedes V6 engine. · Highly-equipped model, including electric folding hard-top, and heated leather seats.

Registration - LK53 UCFChassis No. - WDB2304742F059752M.O.T. - July 2024Odometer - 81,000A true sleeper car, this example of Mercedes-Benz’s SL55 AMG looks superbly understated and refined, rather than the high-performance Grand Tourer it undoubtedly is. Presented in traditional silver, over a black interior, ‘LK53 UCF’ is powered by Mercedes’ AMG tuned 5.5-litre supercharged V8, which produced more than 500hp when new. This drives the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, with paddles on the steering wheel for manual override. Packed with a long list of factory-fitted equipment, ‘LK53 UCF’ includes features such as heated and electric leather seats, multi-function steering wheel, drive mode selector, central infotainment system, split-rim AMG alloys, AMG badging, discreet boot lip spoiler, black – rather than chrome – grille and vent detailing, quad exhaust, and of course, the folding hard-top roof.Despite this R230 SL-Class being a 20 year old car, there are only 81,000 miles indicated on the odometer, though these are not warranted. It’s been in the car of the current owner for more than 12 years, and it has been stored for the past three years. On being put back on the road, the owner says they have had ‘LK53 UCF’ overhauled to make it ready for driving again. As such, they consider all areas of the SL55 AMG to be in ‘excellent’ condition, from engine and transmission, to interior, paint, bodywork, and electrics. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is one that is steeped in history, with a series of class-leading models produced over the years, since its introduction in 1954. The ‘SL’ is likely to stand for Sport-Licht (Sport Light) – though Mercedes has never confirmed this abbreviation – though the model has moved towards a grand tourer over the decades from its initial sporting roots. The W198 300 SL is one of the most famous and desirable cars ever, with the famous ‘Gullwing’ coupe and convertible Roadster lasting until 1963. They were replaced by the almost equally beautiful W113 models, nicknamed the ‘Pagoda’ SL because of a concave roofline. This edition was produced until 1971, using a range of 2.3, 2.5, or 2.8-litre straight-six engines. The R107 SL arrived in 1971, with a new design ethos, and the first-time fitting of V8 engines alongside straight sixes. These grew up to 5.5-litres in size, as the SL moved towards a touring model, though it was rallied by Mercedes-Benz in long-distance races. In 1989, the R129 version arrived, introduced as a convertible with a removable hard-top – and the engine capacities and cylinder count continued to climb. Now available with the straight-six units were V6 and V6 options – the latter up to 6.0-litres in size – and also a trio of V12 options, up to 7.3-litres. In 2001, the distinction between cabriolet and coupe was completely removed, with the introduction of the Vario Roof. This saw a folding hard-top fitted as standard to all models, allowing for two cars in one, and was continued on to the R231 version introduced in 2012, running until 2020. Finally, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has become the Mercedes-AMG SL-Class, signifying its shift to the sports arm of the Stuttgart marque, and is offered only as a convertible, with folding soft-top roof and 2+2 seating. · Highly-specified example, with desirable colour scheme and cabin.· Sought-after, high power SL55 AMG fitted with supercharged V8.· Recently refreshed after time in storage.

Registration - SV03 LBPChassis No. - WDB2094612T007463M.O.T. - February 2025Odometer - 121,994Drawing inspiration from classic “Silver Arrows” Mercedes-Benz racing cars, this CLK 240 Convertible is fittingly finished in silver, and is believed by the owner to be a one-of-a-kind example. A carefully completed CLK AMG 6.3 Black Series recreation, this CLK 240 Convertible looks every inch as though it has been built by Mercedes’ famed tuning specialists in Affalterbach, and is reckoned to be the only convertible Black Series replica in the UK. The bodywork has been built and fitted by Fulhand Cars, and comes complete with fresh paintwork, with the vendor describing the sharply-styled exterior as being in ‘excellent’ condition.Under the bonnet sits the 2.6-litre V6 petrol engine fitted to the CLK 240 range, making it ULEZ compliant under current regulations, and that unit is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission – both of which are ‘excellent’ according to the current owner.Rolling off the factory production line in ‘Avantgarde’ specification, many of the exterior details have been altered with the fitting of the Black Series replica kit, including 20-inch deep dish staggered wheels – which have new tyres fitted – and custom quad exhaust for the full aural Black Series experience. TA Technix coilovers have been fitted too, to make sure that the changes are not simply skin-deep. The cabin remains in standard specification, which includes two-tone grey leather interior and multi-function steering wheel, plus of course, the folding convertible roof.Recently serviced, and with a long MOT, this near 21 year old car looks in great condition for its age, and carries its indicated 121,994 miles well. All areas of the vehicle are described by the vendor as being in ‘excellent’ condition, and buyers have the chance to obtain a full AMG look, but without the performance car costs.Mercedes-Benz’s CLK-Class is a key, but relatively short-lived, model in the German giant’s history. Having been introduced in 1996, it proved a temporary separated ‘E-Class’ coupe and convertible option, before the two-door models were brought back within the E-Class’s portfolio. The mid-sized premium coupe and cabriolet saw three-generations within its time in production, starting with the C/W208 version, followed by the C/A209 models, and completing the set with the C/A207 series. The badge was also successfully raced in Germany’s DTM touring car championship, and provided the inspiration behind the CLK GTR GT1 endurance racer.Unique example of Mercedes’ convertible CLKFitted with AMG Black Series style body kit, including upgraded exhaust and suspensionRunning a CLK 240 powertrain under the bonnet

Registration - WHJ 428MChassis No. - 10704312011114M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 193,277kmThe epitome of Mercedes-Benz’s coupe and convertible range, the SL represents style and performance in equal measure – and this 1974 350SL is no different. Presented in white with brown leather interior, this left-hand drive example is an imported model, having arrived in the UK in 1997 – with history available up until that date. It is fitted with Mercedes’ 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine and the German manufacturer’s famously smooth automatic transmission.Having been in the vendor's ownership for the last 20 years, despite the car’s unknown history before being imported, there is plenty of paperwork and knowledge concerning ‘WHJ 428M’ since it was registered on these shores. The seller reports that they have kept it garaged when not in use during that time, and the Mercedes has had no additional work carried out to it other than regular servicing and maintenance, and a new stainless-steel exhaust from specialists JP Exhausts fitted. The 350SL is reckoned to be in ‘good’ condition mechanically, and in terms of electrics and cabin quality, while the bodywork and paint is considered ‘excellent’, backing up the care and attention that has been paid to this high-end Mercedes-Benz convertible.Although unwarranted because of its pre-UK history, the odometer displays 193,277km covered, and the vendor – only the third keeper in the car’s history – considers this accurate. Offered at No Reserve, this Mercedes-Benz 350SL Convertible is a superb opportunity to own an unrestored and high-quality example of a flagship droptop. Just as AMG is synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz performance division and Fords with RS Cosworth badges on the boot can always be relied upon to supply thrills on demand, Overfinch has been connected to Range Rover (and Land Rover) since the 1970's offering something a little more 'exuberant' to the world's best four wheel drive car ever built. Overfinch, in association with the world famous gunmaker, Holland & Holland, produced a limited edition Range Rover in which standard extras are superseded by bespoke packages for their limited numbers production cars. The prototype and first few Holland & Holland L322's were pre-facelift 4.2 engine cars however the rarest was the 5.0 litre facelift cars and as such this is likely a once in a lifetime find especially as this is number one of the proposed 100 and a car featured on Top Gear amongst other press. For what could be considered the rarest of all Range Rovers, this is one of what is believed to be four produced before Overfinch went into administration and boasts a phenomenal specification. This example was first registered in July 2009 and the first L322 Holland & Holland car to be produced. Our vendor is the fourth keeper of the car and has known the car from new.Initially registered to Overfinch and wearing the OF D365 registration number seen in the press, it was sold to a friend of our vendor who sold the car to his nephew before our vendor took ownership in 2015. Some of the Overfinch/Holland & Holland customisation extends to the following; cream full H&H custom interior in extended nappa leather with Holland and Holland stitching and green piping, H&H extended wood pack with inlays, full rear centre console with etched Overfinch/H&H crystal tumblers, H&H leather and wood steering wheel with steel monogrammed inlays, large rear console mounted fridge and rear entertainment system with executive rear seating and individual heated/cooled seats. Sitting on 22" Overfinch alloys with deployable side steps, the body has an Overfinch Aero bodykit with exhaust finishers, Overfinch LED illuminated kick plates and it comes as no surprise that the car comes with every Range Rover option bar none. These include uprated Harman/Kardon Logic 7 HD, full UV glass, rear cameras, active headlights, touch screen satellite navigation with dual view, locking rear differential and climate front seats.Within the history file is a copy of Shooting Times which the car features on original stock wheels, press photo, original Holland & Holland sales brochure featuring this very car and the gun cabinet that it sadly no longer carries. A comprehensive service history is found with 13 stamps in the booklet which includes the last service in March 2023 at 65,247 miles, this coupled to the book pack and folder full of invoices from servicing and maintenance. Offered with an MoT test certificate until March 2025, this is a car maintained regardless of cost, with known history and provenance from new, including two keys. The vendor states that he could only fault the heated steering wheel not working, everything else appearing to operate correctly at the time of catalogue. This is a rare collectable car, number one of just 100 proposed to be built and one of four examples believed to have been finally produced before Overfinch went into administration. The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 models were manufactured from 1971 through to 1989 and were the longest running production models after the G-Class. They were sold under the SL and SLC model names as the 280SL, 280SLC, 300SL, etc. up to the 560SL. The R107 roadster has been described as one of the best-looking Mercedes-Benz cars produced to date. The larger, third generation SL, initially with just a 3.5-litre engine (350 SL) mated to four-speed automatic transmission. The car featured a two-door monocoque bodyshell with independent suspension all round, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the front, semi-trailing arms, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the rear. The power assisted steering was Daimler-Benz's own re-circulating ball system. This one-off opportunity to own one of the lowest mileage, iconic Mercedes-Benz R107s in the world with a condition that is surmountable with not only this low mileage but with a high level of care and maintenance. First registered on 9th February 1989 and presented in gleaming white coachwork with blue MB Tex trim to the front and the optional bench seat in the rear topped of with a blue contrasting mohair hood. The car boasts just two previous keepers, the last owner a lady who purchased the car at 1,700 miles eight years previously and had the car stored in a dry heated garage between short dry weather outings. The car has had MoT’s fulfilled on a regular basis in Stoke on Trent and regular health checks, the next which has just been carried out along with a service and MoT until April 2025 with unsurprisingly no advisories. Inside the fuel cap you can still find the original check the oil every 6,000 miles sticker and in the boot an original tool roll in the original plastic pouch.Originality is indeed the key word here, but for the tyres the car is completely original unrestored and as it would have left the showroom in 1989 including the Blaupunkt cassette radio an option from new. Offered with two keys, handbooks, full size spare wheel and hardtop, also fitted lap belts to the rear this is one of the most collectable time warp examples money can buy. The Mercedes-Benz 300 SE entered production in saloon, coupé and cabriolet form and was one of four models to share the new ‘Fintail’ body style first seen at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1959. It became the flagship model at the time of its introduction in 1961, superseding the 300 ‘Adenauer’ and would remain so until the arrival of the 600 ‘Grosser Mercedes’ in 1963. Although similar in appearance to the contemporary 220, the 300 SE was mechanically more refined, featuring self-levelling air suspension, power assisted steering, servo assisted disc brakes on all four wheels and, from August 1963, dual-circuit braking. From 1964 the 2,996cc, Bosch fuel-injected, six-cylinder all-alloy engine produced 170bhp (DIN), an output sufficient to propel the luxuriously equipped 300SE to around 200km/h, or 195km/h when equipped with the optional four-speed automatic transmission. As is the case with all of Mercedes-Benz’s many flagship models, ownership of the 300 SE was confined to a wealthy few. At the time of its launch in 1961, coincidental with that of the Jaguar E-Type, one could have bought two of the British sports cars for the price of a single 300 SE! Only 5,202 had been sold when production ceased in 1965.Finished in the original colour scheme of beige with a turquoise leather interior trim, this highly original automatic transmission 300SE was first registered in the UK on 18th February 1965 and had been well maintained and dry stored for some 28 years before the vendor bought the car in 2018. Under his ownership the car has undergone a significant, but sympathetic restoration to make it the best 300SE we have ever seen. New old stock wings were sourced and fitted along with having new sills and new spare wheel well fitted. New chrome was ordered, the car fully repainted in its factory colour and new old stock carpets fitted, new seat flutes fitted, the wood dash restored and a Becker radio sourced. As well as all this, the car benefitted from having a complete mechanical overhaul with the engine being refreshed, the fuel injection pump being rebuilt, a new radiator and a new sump pan fitted, the power steering pump was rebuilt, air suspension was fully serviced, the gearbox overhauled, as were the brakes and every other part of the car. Almost all of this work was carried out by renowned classic Mercedes-Benz specialist John Haynes at a cost of over £77,500 since 2019 with the vendor reporting the car to run and drive extremely well. The history file comes complete with its V5C, previous MoT test certificates, original books in their original wallet, invoices, copy of its build sheet that also confirms its engine and gearbox are both original. With just over 56,000 miles on the odometer, this 300 SE represents a wonderful opportunity to acquire a rare, top-of-the-range Mercedes-Benz luxury saloon. The Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL, equipped with a robust 4.5-liter V8 engine, epitomizes luxury and performance. The 450 SEL's spacious interior is adorned with premium materials and advanced features, reflecting Mercedes-Benz's commitment to comfort and elegance. With timeless styling and impeccable engineering, the Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL remains an iconic symbol of automotive excellence. This 450 SEL was originally registered in November 1978 and since then shows only 3 owners. The quality of the cars produced by Mercedes-Benz during this era was extremely high. This is borne out in how well we are told this car drives. Presenting in the classic combination of Silver with a contrasting black interior this car benefits from a factory fitted sunroof and the iconic ‘Mexican Hat’ alloy wheels. The Mercedes-Benz W113 roadsters, designed by Paul Bracq, were produced from 1963 through to 1971 and were known as the 'pagoda roof' SL. All models boast an inline six-cylinder engine with multi-port fuel injection. Rear-wheel drive configuration was complemented by independent rear suspension, a feature that greatly improved road handling. The 230 SL made a remarkable debut at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show in March 1963 where the famous German engineer Fritz Nallinger introduced it as follows "It was our aim to create a very safe and fast sports car with high performance which, despite its sports characteristics, provides a very high degree of travelling comfort."This late Mercedes-Benz Pagoda example was originally registered on 16th March 1971. The car you see here today is nearly finished and is only being sold be the vendor due to lack of garage space. The paintwork is excellent and the trim work has been completed to a very high standard. The matching blue hood is new and complements the high quality of the works undertaken. Sold by ourselves in May 2021, the vendor has completed a lot of the work on this Pagoda, fitting of the lights, grille, exhaust etc. although the car still requires additional work to complete the car. A collection of parts will accompany this Pagoda to auction. At some point in the cars life it was fitted with a 2778cc Mercedes-Benz engine, this change is recorded on the V5C registration document which is present. Viewing is highly recommended; this desirable right hand drive automatic Mercedes-Benz is offered to auction at what can only be considered an extremely realistic price, taking into account the capital value when completed. The Mercedes-Benz R107 was produced from 1971 through to 1989 and became the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. The SL variant was a two-seat convertible with standard soft top and optional folding seats for the rear bench. Volume production of the first SL started in April 1971. Of all the engine offerings the 280 remains sought-after with the smaller 2.8 litre engine offering plenty of power but with the advantage of less weight and thus improved handling. The SL Roadster has since become the epitome of what a luxury roadster should look like and can be found from Aberdeen to Antibes and indeed in every corner of the earth and wherever the jet-set congregate. Beautiful metallic gold convertible, with full MOT until April 2025. Excellent runnerA much-loved Mercedes SL that was first registered on 3rd April 1985. Previously owned by Dr Peter Wright-Hampson who was a Mercedes club director and reported on cars and their owners across the UK for the Mercedes-Benz Gazette. A real pride and joy to the previous owner who used it extensively with many drives though France and Portugal and right across the UK with his family, which reflects in the mileage but also the maintenance. The car has also been shown extensively and very successful at winning prizes including concourse events in its heyday and a number of times winning at shows such as Tatton Park. Coming with a full MOT until April 2025 the car has recently been in professional car storage. An opportunity to own a much-treasured R107 Mercedes-Benz. AMG, which is now the official performance division of Mercedes-Benz, has a long history of producing high-performance derivatives of Mercedes' standard production vehicles. With the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in 2010, the Affalterbach-based firm took a significant step forward. First seen at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and acknowledged as a tribute to the legendary 300 SL 'Gullwing' coupé of the 1950s – arguably the world's first supercar – the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was notable as the first car to be designed in-house by AMG. A collectors' item from the day it was announced, the newcomer featured 'Gullwing' doors like its illustrious predecessor and succeeded the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren at the top of the German manufacturer's range. Styled by Mercedes-Benz's Mark Fetherston, the SLS AMG received numerous prestigious design awards, and is the only automobile ever to have won the (gold) Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. Boasting a chassis/body of mainly aluminium construction, the SLS (Sport Licht Super) was powered by a 6.2 litre V8 engine producing 563bhp initially - the most powerful normally aspirated production car engine of its day - while the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission was similarly state-of-the-art. A rear wing, extendable at high speeds, kept the SLS stable at its near-200mph maximum, while its low weight (3,573lbs) helped the car lap the Mercedes-Benz test track quicker than its SLR McLaren predecessor. Not surprisingly, given its pedigree, the SLS AMG proved very popular with racing drivers, Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton among them, while the list of celebrity owners includes Eddie Murphy, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Pacino, Roger Federer, Sylvester Stallone and Tom Hanks. Several limited edition versions were introduced, including a GT3 racer, leading up to the SLS AMG GT Final Edition of 2014. Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers has said that there are no plans for a successor, so for the time being the SLS AMG remains the ultimate expression of the noble 'Gullwing' tradition. This stunning example presented in Fire Opal Red with Black Designo Exclusive Diamond pattern leather and carbon fibre bonnet as per every SLS Final Edition has covered a mere 4,500 miles from new. Originally registered 19th June 2014, this example was owned for several years by the first owner before being sold by Romans International to its second owner who kept it for a year before Romans were again commissioned to sell it to our vendor in 2023. Limited to only 350 models worldwide, this is the last ever version of the iconic Gullwing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The Final Edition is based on the SLS AMG GT, the later version which has a 20bhp power boost over the standard SLS and features a remapped double clutch seven-speed gearbox with upgraded suspension improving the car's performance and handling considerably. Final Editions such as this have some unique touches to make them it that extra bit special including a carbon fibre bonnet with a central air outlet, carbon fibre splitter on the front apron, a fixed carbon fibre rear wing from the SLS Black Series plus a set of forged light alloys and finally a diamond patterned exclusive leather interior. Of the 350 SLS Final Editions made worldwide which is a combination of both coupés and roadsters, it is believed only six were UK supplied Gullwing coupés with this example being one them and one of the rarest cars you'll ever find on the UK market. We believe the SLS to be a modern day classic which will be one of the most remembered and desirable Mercedes in years to come, a great investment opportunity as proven by the 300 SL Gullwing that the SLS was based on. Last serviced at 4,400 miles in December of 2023, this car boasts a main dealer service history and the car has also recently been treated to PPF on the front and carbon interior. With one of the last 6.2 litre naturally-aspirated V8 engines Mercedes will ever make it is of no surprise that we are seeing many collectors buying up the best examples, with the AMG Black SLS now fetching in excess of £700,000 and SLR’s values increasing year on year. Keeping an eye on its future value is certainly worthwhile but meanwhile own one of the design icons of the modern era harking back to the design icon of the 50’s.. Mercedes-Benz first introduced an SL model in 1954 following an original idea by American importer Max Hoffman who foresaw a market for a car tailored to affluent Americans in the booming post war United States. It has remained in production, in various guises and model years in the seven decades since then making the SL the second longest single series ever produced by the German manufacturer. This stylish looking Mercedes started life as a 380SL in 1983 when it was purchased from Mayfair Mercedes on Park Lane. The car was used as a daily driver by its first owner for the next fifteen years. Around the year 2011 it was decided to treat this convertible to a bare metal restoration. During this process a 5.0 litre engine was fitted. Only 60,000 mils have been covered with this engine. The car benefits from the rear seat option, a factory hardtop and featured in a 2012 edition of Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine. Our vendor is only the third owner of this luxurious convertible and tells us that it is a joy to drive. Purchased by the current vendor in 2012 the Mercedes has always been dry stored in his tenure and used occasionally on weekends and throughout the summer months. Fitted with a replacement V8 motor the Mercedes is offered with a sizeable history file containing various invoices, maintenance bills, old MoT records, the current UK registration document, and a new MoT valid until March 2025. The SLK 55 AMG was launched in 2004, powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8, producing 355bhp and driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts. Car & Driver Magazine reported a 0-60mph time in 4.3 seconds. The SL55 featured the AMG body kit, 18” alloy wheels, lowered suspension and quad exhausts as standard. While keenly priced at £51,975 when new, its ability to deliver two cars in one – it’s both a laidback and cosseting coupé and a blood-spitting hairy-chested roadster – it was widely renowned as a highly engaging machine. This absolutely stunning example of the SLK 55 is presented in Obsidian Black and of course boasts the handbuilt hammer of the 5.5 litre V8 AMG powerplant under your feet. First registered in June 2008 this car has had just four previous owners and covered a mere 29,450 miles from new, the first purchasing from Mercedes-Benz Manchester before housing the car in the South of France for the first nine years of its life. Specified with heated seats, Airscarf, Parktronic (front and rear) AMG steering wheel and DAB surround stereo system. An inspection of the car finds it in unmarked condition with every button and option working as it should, including the optional remote control for the roof on the key, just as it would have when it left the factory. The well sculped Gullwing bucket seats trimmed with Alcantara and two tone red and black leather boast the Mercedes-Benz air scarf technology so even on a crisp sunny day you are cocooned in a warm seat while enjoying the sound of the AMG engine and wind through your hair. A very good history file provides the original order form, nearly every MoT, all service bills coupled to the full book pack. This car has to be viewed, possibly the best example in the country, sitting on four matching Michelin tyres and has just been treated to an oil change service and MoT, although not due, so that a new owner can drive away immediately and enjoy. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a two-door grand touring convertible with a removable hardtop that was produced between May 1955 and February 1963 with a prototype first shown at the 1954 New York Motorshow. It was sold alongside the faster, more expensive Mercedes-Benz 300SL which it closely resembled both in its styling, engineering, detailing and fully independent suspension. However, the 190SL did not use the 300SL's purpose-built tubular spaceframe W198 platform but was built on a shortened monocoque R121 unit. The 190SL was powered by a new 1.9 litre straight-four SOHC engine that developed 104bhp and was later also used in the W120, 180 and W121, 190 models. The four-cylinder engine block of the 190SL was based on the six- cylinder engine of the 300SL.This left hand drive Mercedes-Benz was imported into the UK from the US in 2021 with registration at the DVLA on October of the same year. Finished in cream with a black interior and a new black soft top. The engine runs well and we are told this 190SL drives with no known faults, these are supremely stylish cars with uncomplicated and reliable mechanics. The interior is tidy, as is the chromework. The paintwork has some age related marks, to be expected of a car that is 64 years old. Supplied with a V5C registration document this delightfully handsome 190 SL is a classy example of a Mercedes-Benz. Together with the 300 SL, the Mercedes-Benz 190 SL made history at the New York International Motor Sports Show in February 1954 by being the first new production Mercedes-Benz to be unveiled outside of Germany. The striking impression given by the 190 SL, sitting alongside the bigger 300 SL, was neat, sporty and with dashing lines - signatures of Mercedes-Benz designers Karl Wilfret and Walter Hacket. And between May 1955 and February 1963, 25,881 of these cars were produced, a huge success for Mercedes-Benz. Its engine boasted four inline cylinders with a chain driven overhead camshaft and two carburettors delivering a respectable 108bhp for that era, and still providing an exhilarating drive today. The body was a monocoque design, welded to the shortened chassis of the type 180 saloon. A racing version with aluminium doors and a small windscreen was never officially produced although, these parts could be ordered from the factory for weekend racing. This charming left hand drive 190 SL was built in the fourth year of production in 1957 and registered new in 1958. It was more recently imported and first registered in the UK on 12th January 2016 and is finished in cream with a contrasting red interior and black soft top. The coachwork is in good condition showing light patina, as too, the interior and engine bay. Recent maintenance work has been completed by PKF Engineering, in Salisbury with maintenance invoices shown in the history file. Just like the Jaguar Mk. II had done in the 1960's, the BMW M5, affectively reinvented the popular notion of a sports saloon. The E39 generation is seen as one of the true great M cars, introduced in 1998 when Jaguar had just introduced an XJR with 365bhp, and Mercedes-Benz's latest E55 produced 350bhp, after a three-year absence, BMW responded with an automotive knock-out punch: the E39 M5. Its muscular bodywork concealed a 5.0 litre, DOHC 32 valve, V8 with variable valve timing producing roughly 400bhp and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Daring drivers could sprint from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds; faster than a Porsche 911, while roaring through the gears with a 7,000rpm redline and a throaty exhaust note blaring through four exhaust tips. This example is presented in the exceedingly rare ‘Individual’ Velvet metallic, which is simply one of ‘the’ colours to have on an E39 M5. This is an opportunity which is very rarely available, only seven cars are believed to exist in the UK in this colour and this particular one is the only example specified with Sand Beige interior. Our vendor has owned three E39 M5’s in total and this car was on his radar for a very long time before he had the opportunity to purchase it. When it did become available he jumped straight in the car and bought it that same day! Forming part of an impressive BMW collection, this car has been in the right hands with our vendor and the previous long-term owner. The service history is excellent, with 18 service stamps from a mixture of main agents and specialists and the overall condition of the car is superb. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate and a comprehensive maintenance history, this M5 will be truly appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors alike. First registered in March 1991, this modern example has fast become a classic in its own right and good cars, such as this, are now hard to find. Finished in the classic Smoke Silver with Mushroom plaid interior, this benefits from the ‘Sportline’ chassis option which consisted of lowered and uprated shocks and springs, bigger anti-roll bars and an uprated & more direct steering box. Also included is a sports steering wheel with 15-hole light alloy (fully refurbished) wheels, electric sliding/tilting sunroof and self-levelling suspension.Serviced by Mercedes-Benz Chichester from new to 83,800 miles and subsequently by further specialist garages, it had a new windscreen fitted in June of last year under the watchful gaze of Jamiroquai’s front man and noted classics collector, Jay Kay. It has since been serviced in 2019 by Mercedes-Benz experts, John Hains of Goring-by-Sea totalling over £1,300 and, most recently with Smercs of Portsmouth, leading Mercedes-Benz specialists on the South Coast. With Cosworth models now in excess of £20,000, this now-coveted Sportline example is offered without reserve, with a full 12-month MoT certificate and will be of firm interest to enthusiasts who are now featuring these modern classics in their collections.
