Lot 235

1993 Mercedes-Benz S600 Coupé 'ex-Brunei Royal Family' Transmission: manualMileage:613With each successive generation of Mercedes-Benz cars, the Stuttgart manufacturer maintains its tradition of offering the very finest automobiles across a wide range of classes. Debuted at the Geneva Motor Show the new W140 series was developed at a cost of over one billion dollars and was unquestionably the most advanced motorcar on the planet when it came out. Standard equipment on these supremely well-appointed automobiles included a four-speed automatic transmission, traction control, double-glazed glass, electronic stability control and pneumatically self-closing doors. The S500 and S600 were electronically limited to a maximum speed of 155mph, surely fast enough for most. In 1993 Mercedes-Benz changed the model designations of the 500 SEL/600 SEL to S500/S600.  Often considered the last 'over-engineered' Mercedes, the W140 and C140 series are still believed by many to be the ultimate car in terms of luxury, comfort and reliability.Supplied new to the Brunei Royal family this unique and imposing example of the flagship S600 Coupé is to be regarded as perhaps the lowest mileage example in existence. Presented in black with black sumptuous luxury trim this example was bought to the UK in 2021, and since has been serviced and readied for UK driving. The history includes an MoT test certificate and V5C registration document. Features on these cars include climate control, cruise control, electric memory heated seats with air lumbar supports, double glazed windows and electric rear window blind. This would be a fabulous opportunity to own this early 90's flagship model.INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD NOTE THAT THERE IS NO V5 WITH THE SALE OF THIS LOT, THE V5 HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR AND EXPECTED IN THE COMING WEEKS, ONCE THE DVLA HAVE SUPPLIED THIS IT WILL BE FORWARDED ONTO THE NEW OWNER IN DUE COURSE. (TO CONFIRM ALL TAXES ARE PAID)

Lot 194

2000 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:62947Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Based around a two-door monocoque bodyshell, its sophisticated, all-round independent suspension (double-wishbone front/five-link rear) was augmented by a host of active and passive safety features including electronic stability control, ventilated ABS disc brakes, adaptive-damping shock absorbers, front airbags and an integral rollover bar that deployed in less than a third of a second if the car ever sensed an impending flip. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin consisted of a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows and mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This lovely example of this popular and final R129 model is presented in silver with a black leather interior. It comes with a book pack, service book with ten stamps and was last serviced 600 miles ago in 2020, six invoices can be seen in the history file. The car also comes with its Japanese Mileage Guarantee Certificate verifying its mileage as correct. These, last of the line V6 engined SL's are extremely popular models today and this particular SL320 represents great value for money considering its original book price.

Lot 127

1990 Mercedes-Benz 1000/560 SEC Transmission: automaticMileage:85432It is unsurprising that the original owner of this hugely powerful, luxury coupé decided to personalise this car to his own tastes. Not only is this example more aerodynamic than its predecessor but it carries a larger 5.6 litre, V8 engine and represented the official flagship for not only the S-Class range but for Mercedes-Benz altogether.Aftermarket conversions were not uncommon, mainly in Germany and the UK, by a range of tuning companies such as Robert Jankel Designs, Styling-Garage and Trasco. These were known as '1000 SEC' cars and usually carried the moniker to the rear. There were a number of options to choose from but, according to the owner, this 1000 SEC features an upgraded interior and dials as well as various body styling upgrades. The interior is in superb condition and the paintwork is also excellent. This example also carries split-rim alloy wheels all round with good rubber on each corner. The private owner has enjoyed the car for a number of years and notes that the car has been subject to regular oil changes and check-ups. It will arrive with a fresh one-year MoT test certificate, history file and light service.

Lot 249

1968 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda Transmission: manualMileage:84343The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL was introduced in December 1967 and continued in production until February 1971. An all new design by Paul Bracq to replace the 190 SL and 300 SL Roaster. The 280 SL had a powerful 2.8 litre version of Mercedes inline-six and used Bosch fuel injection. To save on weight the bonnet, boot lid and tonneau cover were all composed of aluminium. The nickname 'Pagoda' was quickly adopted thanks to the slightly concave roof on the optional removable hardtop that resembled a pagoda roof. The comparatively short and wide chassis, combined with an excellent suspension, powerful disc brakes and radial tyres gave the W113 superb handling for its time. These roadsters also have one of the most beautiful bodies produced in the 1960s. Thanks to their robust inline-six and their luxurious Mercedes interior, they are wonderful cars to be driven and enjoyed. The styling of the front paid homage to the legendary 300 SL with its characteristic upright Bosch 'fishbowl' headlights and simple chrome grille, dominated by the large three-pointed star in the nose panel. This stunning black with contrasting beige trim example of the larger engine SL Pagoda was purchased and imported from Germany in 2015 arriving with a waft of paperwork dating back to 1993 predominantly from Keenan Mercedes-Benz dealership. Upon arrival our vendor sent the car directly to leading classic Mercedes-Benz specialists Roger Edwards who immediately performed an MoT and fitted seatbelts, and then annually since has performed any necessary maintenance and renovations including new woodwork. More recently a new hood has been fitted. A stunning left hand drive manual example in rare black coachwork this would be an ideal car to tour Europe or leave at your abode in the south of France.

Lot 302

1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E Transmission: manualMileage:80486With £600 million spent on research and development, it is clear to see why the Mercedes 190E was the instant success story that it was, capturing an unprecedented share of the compact executive saloon market in the late 1980s. Boasting a spectrum of new safety features including ABS and safety-belt pretensioners, front and rear anti-roll bars, five-link suspension and anti-squat and anti-dive geometry, the cars quickly became renowned for comfort and capability. This example of the incredibly popular 190 is offered in blue coachwork and has covered a mere 80,468 miles which for a 190E is barely run-in! Originally registered on the 3rd September 1990 this example still retaining its book pack, boasts a comprehensive service history all found in the service booklet. The first seven services are with supplying dealer Portfield Mercedes-Benz, then further main dealer and specialist or local garages show a total of 12 stamps, the last in February 2022. A lovely well-kept example this is also offered with original sales brochures, Haynes Manual and an MoT test certificate until March 2023 with no advisories. A great car in good condition and a good history file from an era when Mercedes-Benz's were built to last. Guide Price £4,000 - £6,000

Lot 244

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:31535The Mercedes-Benz W204 is the third generation of the C-Class and was styled by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. AMG launched the C63 Black Series in 2012 and what an astonishing car it was, even ten years on the performance is blistering. The AMG engineers adopted a new strategy for the C63; instead of bolting on a series of goodies to make it faster as they had in the past, they redesigned the C-Class from the ground up as a dedicated performance car. It gained revised front suspension, a four-stage, seven-speed automatic gearbox, and the M156 engine. The C63 gained more power in 2011, producing 480bhp and came with composite brake discs, red or yellow brake calipers, and a carbon fibre boot spoiler. As if this was not enough AMG then wheeled out the C63 AMG Black Series. With a wider front and rear track, coil over shock absorber suspension with adjustable dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, an AMG limited-slip differential, and a 50% bigger radiator. Now producing and impressive 510bhp and a sub-four seconds 0-60mph, the top speed was restricted to 186mph. With a rev limit of 7,200rpm this V8 engine offers astonishing performance in any gear.Originally registered on 1st September 2012, this C63 is unmarked and finished in Diamond White with black leather and Alcantara interior. The coachwork has been covered in matt PPF (paint protection film) offering both a great sporty look as well as protection for the paintwork. The black carbon fibre looks even more impressive against the white coachwork. The cockpit area of this Mercedes is very impressive with everything easily at hand, the ergonomics really are something special in this C63. The sports seats offer great comfort and firing up the V8 engine instantly puts a smile on your face. Suddenly you become aware of how much power is available under your right foot. Slip the gearbox into drive and this car becomes something of a chameleon, it will behave perfectly in slow traffic and becomes a 'supercar' on the open road with seemingly endless power available. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full year's MoT test certificate and a service history. With just 66 right hand drive Black Edition coupés available, this example, with its full aero dynamic pack is certainly rare. Offered in fabulous condition throughout this magnificent example is not to be missed.

Lot 146

1996 Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:73170AMG was founded as a racing engine forge in 1967 by former Mercedes-Benz engineers; the letters 'AMG' taken from their names; Aufecht, Melcher and Großaspach. In 1990, with AMG having become a high-profile purveyor of modified Mercedes-Benz cars, Daimler-Benz AG and AMG signed a contract of co-operation allowing AMG to leverage Daimler-Benz's extensive dealer network and leading to commonly developed vehicles (the first one being the Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG, in 1993). On 1st January 1999, Daimler-Chrysler acquired 51 percent of AMG shares and AMG was re-named to Mercedes-AMG. In 1995, the C-Class received its first genuine performance model, the C36 AMG, to counter the new six-cylinder BMW M3. Developed with AMG, it had racing-tuned suspension and the 3.6 litre engine had a general output of 276bhp. The C36 AMG accelerates from 0-60mph in 5.8 seconds and top speed was limited to 155mph - an unlimited top speed was recorded at 169mph.This lovely example of this 'wolf in sheep's clothing' is presented in black with grey leather interior. The present owner has fitted a new alternator and brake pipes, it was last serviced in March this year. It comes with electric windows and automatic transmission. These superb saloons were the envy of many and are highly sought after, still producing great performance which competes with many much younger modern sports cars!

Lot 193

1994 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Transmission: automaticMileage:61750Stuttgart supplied these grand-tourers with high levels of comfort including a fabric convertible top as well as a colour-matched and manually detachable hardtop that could be fitted over the stored fabric convertible roof. Other advancements included an electronically controlled damping and the famous hidden, automatically extending roll-over bar. These incredibly accomplished, five litre sportscars represent a truly advanced way to travel.Presented in blue with contrasting biscuit leather trim this one owner from new SL500 was first registered to our vendor on the 11th May 1994. When the car was ordered, the vendor was invited to Stuttgart to view his particular SL in production. Supplied with the original book pack, including maintenance book, which has 11 main dealer stamps until 2007 and 42,726 miles. At this point our vendor used a local garage, Eaton Square in Belgravia SW1 to continue maintenance on a regular basis, the last being carried out in February. At this point the car was MoT'd and valeted. The car boasts the hardtop and wind guard and with just 61,750 miles, is a low mileage example of a one owner car. The private plate L500 JJM is also with the car presenting we think, very good value for the larger engine SL R129 in possibly the best colour combination.

Lot 257

1981 Cadillac Seville Transmission: manualMileage:51525The Seville was manufactured by Cadillac between 1975 and 2004 as a smaller-sized, premium model. It was replaced by the STS in 2004. The name of 'Cadillac's first small car' was selected over a revival Lasalle or the GM design staff's preference, Lascala, primarily because, as noted by GM Marketing Director Gordon Horsburgh, It had no negatives. This new model was Cadillacs answer to the rising popularity of European luxury imports such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The companies' planners were concerned that their once high ranking in automotive production was fading, especially among the younger generation of car buyers. This 1981 second generation example was registered in the UK in July 2006.It has benefitted from coachworks that have extended the bonnet making the rare example we see today. Powered by a 6.0 litre engine, we are told that this Cadillac glides with ease and is a joy to drive. The paintwork is in good order and the interior is immaculate. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document, the sale of this funky looking piece of American includes the desirable cherished number plate.

Lot 288

2005 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:60200The C55 signified a return to AMG's V8 roots, after barely a three-year flirtation with a supercharged V6. AMG found 8,100 homes for the C32, but the AMG engineers seemed much happier now that there was a serious, big-capacity, naturally aspirated 5.4 litre V8 powering the meatiest C-Class and the badge is there to, well, to ensure the owners don't forget. It is not the performance, AMG claimed 5.2 seconds to 62mph for both C55 and C32, or even the transformation to a deep, wonderfully muscular exhaust note, but the makeover in the dynamics that stood the new sports saloon apart. The C55 marked a small, but perceptible, shift towards a sharper, more sporting focus, that set it closer to the M3 than any previous AMG hot-rod C-Class.This lovely example imported from Japan is presented in white with black AMG Sportline leather interior and comes with electric sunroof, electric heated memory seats, cruise control, electric folding mirrors, paddle shift controls and parking sensors. This quick sports saloon comes with full service history, 10 invoices and its original books.

Lot 111

2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 Transmission: automaticMileage:36556The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a luxury saloon and was officially introduced in 1972 succeeding previous Mercedes-Benz models dating back to the mid-1950s. As the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz line-up, the S-Class has debuted many of the company's latest innovations, including drivetrain technologies, interior features and safety systems (such as seatbelt pre-tensioners). The W220 S-Class was completely restyled in 1999 with a body that was slightly smaller and lighter than its predecessor. As with each new S-Class, the W220 brought in new innovations such as Airmatic air suspension and active ventilated seats (which used miniature fans in the seats to move air through perforations). This lovely left hand drive example from Japan is presented in silver with black leather interior which looks amazing considering it's 22 years old! This luxurious saloon comes with electric sunroof, electric heated memory seats to the front, cruise control, electric steering column, climate control and its Japanese service stickers can still be seen on the vehicle. This is a wonderful example in great condition throughout which belies its age and powered by the smooth five litre V8, it really is a superb luxury saloon.

Lot 253

1993 Mercedes-Benz SL600 'ex-Brunei Royal Family' Transmission: automaticMileage:2461In 1989, Mercedes-Benz introduced the fourth generation SL model, the R129, which was supplied in Europe with several engine options and named accordingly; the basic model was the 190hp three litre, inline six-cylinder 300 SL with 12 valves, and the 228hp three litre, inline six-cylinder with 24 valves, known as the 300 SL 24. However, it was the 322hp 500 SL with a five litre V8 engine which made the headlines, only surpassed by the flagship 600 SL with its fabulous V12 engine. The specification was high with electric windows, mirrors, seats and roof. The R129 model was the first convertible/roadster to offer the automatic roll-bar deployment in event of rollover, although the motorist could also manually raise and lower the roll-bar should he choose to, thus facilitating the clean look of the R129 without compromising the occupant's safety. The range topping 600 SL offered up 389hp through its six litre V12 engine, introduced in 1993 as the 600 SL, it was then re-named the SL600 in 1994 and reached 60mph in just 5.9 seconds. This range topping SL600 is offered in a rare Violet Blue BMW paint code, indeed the only one worldwide in this colour with black leather interior. We are informed was supplied in 1993 for the Brunei Royal collection where in its 28 years with them has covered a mere 2,461 kilometres from new. Imported to the UK in 2021, this example is understandably presented as new and represents a fantastic collectors' example with the most desirable engine combination. The SL600 includes almost everything that may have been optional for the SL500 such as dashboard-adjustable shocks and ride height control. This example is offered with V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate and has had a comprehensive mechanical recommissioning with Mercedes-Benz main dealer. An ultra-desirable R129 SL Mercedes with the desirable V12 engine coupled with incredibly low mileage and provenance from the Brunei Royal family, this is a genuine collectors' car which we believe will be incredibly popular with bidders.

Lot 191

1998 Mercedes-Benz G320 Cabriolet Transmission: automaticMileage:114692Introduced in 1990 as the civilian variant of the military W460, the W463 or Geländewagen, German for 'terrain vehicle' would, somewhat unexpectedly, become Mercedes-Benz's first luxury SUV. In 1994, the 'Geländewagen' name was dropped, and the W463 officially became the 'G-Class' (though it is still commonly referred to as the 'G-Wagen' for short). Offered as a three-door short-wheelbase, two-door short-wheelbase cabriolet, or five-door long-wheelbase, production of the first-generation W463 G-Class would span nearly three decades, ceasing in 2018. Mercedes-Benz offered a wide array of engine, gearbox, and trim levels over the production life of the W463 G-Class. Of the more celebrated models are the cabriolets which combined the practicality of a rugged off-roader along with the refinement and luxury often associated with the Mercedes-Benz brand.Sold new to the German market in 1998, this highly desirable G320 two-door short wheelbase Cabriolet had found its way to the sunnier climate of Mallorca by 2003. It resided there until the vendor spotted it whilst on holiday for sale with a dealership and immediately fell in love with the off-roader. He didn't even try to haggle, (much to the dealer's surprise), happily paying the full asking price. The previous owner in Mallorca had added genuine Brabus wheels, badges and exhaust giving the car enhanced curb appeal. A real head turner, the car enjoys lots of attention and admiring looks wherever it goes. The vendor imported the car to the UK in 2016 and has cherished it here ever since. It has always been serviced and maintained using genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and has always had anything required done immediately. The car was kept in storage over the winter period, (as it is every year), and this year has benefitted from having the wheels refurbished, the front seats re-covered and the hood serviced. Everything on the vehicle is reported to work perfectly, with it running and driving very well and is only now for sale to help fund a house purchase.Supplied with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until February 2023, service history file, book pack and documentation of Majorcan ITV tests, (Spanish version of our MoT tests). Rarer than the G500 on the roads, the G320 cabriolet is a truly unique and attractive car, perfect for enjoying the coming Summer months.

Lot 108

2004 Mercedes-Benz 230 SLK Transmission: automaticMileage:51991At the start of the 1990s, after the introduction of their two-seat, grand-tourer R129 SL and the Mazda MX-5, Mercedes-Benz set out to create a new compact roadster, slotted below the SL. By late 1991, under Bruno Sacco, the first design sketches were drawn, with scale models being built in the first half of 1992. Massively successful in its first year, worldwide sales hit 55,000, over double the entire nine-year production of 190 SLs, and between 1996 and 2004 over 311,000 SLKs were sold. The roof design consists of a folding steel hardtop with both halves linked by a mechanism which is locked securely when the roof is closed. At the touch of a button on the centre console, a hydraulic system controls the fully automatic folding process in which the boot lid is also integrated.Originally registered on 31st March 2004, this Mercedes-Benz is finished in black with a black interior. The condition of this handsome German beauty is a testament to its previous owner. The options specified on the original invoice include leather trim and automatic transmission. The impressive power roof works faultlessly, and she is fitted with a CD player. With an engine that starts on the button, this Mercedes-Benz is described as driving with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 24th August 2022 and various bills and receipts, this striking SLK 230 Kompressor is offered for sale without reserve.

Lot 230

2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:59661In keeping with many of the other Mercedes model series, the new CLK-class in 2002 was able to bear the three-letter mark of sporting prowess: AMG. The package promised superlative power delivery and outstanding handling as well as a list of equipment that exuded exclusivity. Topping the new CLK range was a V8 model that delivered performance on a par with a typical sports car; the CLK AMG produced an impressive 342bhp that could propel this stylish sports coupé to 60mph in just 5.2 seconds. Further features that made the flagship CLK-class sports model really stand out included a special AMG body styling for the front apron, rear apron, and side skirts. Not to mention the 18" AMG light alloy wheels and the AMG exhaust system with twin tailpipes.Originally registered on 12th April 2000 this CLK430 presents in beautiful, unmarked condition. The paintwork has recently been refreshed and the tyres are new. The fastidious vendor has used the car sparingly of late and has decided it is time to part with this Mercedes-Benz Convertible. The wheels are unmarked, and the roof operates exactly as it should. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a full years MoT test certificate together with the service pack and history, these V8 Mercedes-Benz are great to drive, offering smoothness, performance, and reliability all in one package. Such a great car for the summer months ahead.Guide £8,000-£11,000

Lot 282

1994 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:105316Following the resounding success of the R107, the R129 Mercedes-Benz SL had a rather tough act to follow, and it still had to carry on the tradition of a fast and reliable grand touring convertible. The advantage designers had with the R129 was technology. By the time the final car rolled off the production line in 1989, these earlier models had been in production for 18 years with very little change. Therefore, the new SL featured many new and innovative ideas, such as controlled electronic damping, automatically expanding roll-over bar and a more modern multi-link rear axle. In addition to this was a fully operating electric hood, windows, door mirrors and seats, which made this model easy and comfortable to operate. The SL boasted a more powerful engine and the stopping power was aided by anti-locking braking for added reassurance.Registered new on 8th March 1994 this well-presented example is finished in Diamond Blue metallic with full beige leather interior. In good order throughout the coachwork is good as is the interior. Offered with a wind guard for top-down driving and fitted with both hard and soft tops as well as a hardtop stand. The vendor reports that the Mercedes runs very well and comes complete with AMG wheels as part of the high specification this example enjoys. The straight six 3.2 litre engine runs very well and the Mercedes comes with a large history file containing service books, two keys, a current UK registration document and a valid MoT test certificate. Also included is the private registration number. Superb open top motoring ready for the coming summer months.

Lot 178

2004 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:74900The fifth generation of the legendary SL series of two-door convertible sports cars was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof, a first for the SL class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. The flagship models were built by AMG in the form of the SL55 and SL65, both highly tuned versions of the SL500 and SL600 respectively. The SL55 was powered by a mighty supercharged version of the 5.5 litre, V8 which produced 493bhp and achieved 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph (governed). In theory the SL55 could reach 190mph if the car was derestricted but for many, the acceleration and top speed is impressive enough in its standard form! This delightful example started life at a whopping £123,000 when new and has been well looked after by the fastidious vendor. Originally registered on 1st June 2004, this SL55 AMG has covered a modest 74,900 miles. Presented in metallic black coachwork over a black leather interior the Mercedes benefits from a service completed circa 2,000 miles ago. This Mercedes-Benz has a panoramic hardtop and has recently been fitted with a new PSE pump and a set of front brake discs and pads. It comes complete with a Bose sound system, radar controlled speed control, full extended leather to the dashboard and doors and an AMG Alcantara sports steering wheel. The paintwork presents in very good order and the interior shows little sign of age as do the alloy wheels which are shod with good tyres all round. The specification of this example is outstanding, with a comprehensive list of factory options. Reported to drive very well by the current vendor the SL is offered with a sizeable history file including sundry bills, the original wallet and handbook including the service book containing 10 stamps, old MoT records, a current UK registration document, and a MoT valid until February 2023. These stylish sportscars are magnificent to drive and are hugely popular due to their ability to sit in traffic or travel at exceptional speed (where permitted) in comfort; what a great way to enjoy the summer. This vehicle was recorded as a category D insurance claim in 2007 (Vehicle damaged but repairable) which was professionally repaired at the time.Interested parties should note that this vehicle was recorded as a category D insurance claim in 2007 (Vehicle damaged but repairable) which was professionally repaired at the time. The registration number (F100GT) is not included in the sale. The DVLA are currently processing the new registration document with an age related registration number, which will be sent to the buyer following the auction. The roof has now been professionally repaired and is working as it should.

Lot 265

1997 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:41995The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagon, short for Geländewagen (cross-country vehicle), is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. The G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz vehicles in their history with a span of 32 years. It was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of Iran and offered as a civilian version in 1979. The first major refinements were introduced in 1981, including an automatic transmission, air conditioning, an auxiliary fuel tank, protective headlamp grilles and a cable winch. Fuel injection became available in 1982 when the 230GE was introduced in Turin, along with more comfortable and supportive front seats, auxiliary heating, wider tyres, and wheel arches. For 1985, differential locks, central door locking, and a tachometer became standard.Originally registered on 29th September 1997, this long wheelbase, petrol engine, G-Wagon presents exceedingly well. Clearly a very well looked after example, the dark green coachwork is virtually unmarked, and the cream leather interior shows no significant signs of wear and is unblemished. We are advised she drives as good as she looks, and the engine certainly sounds great. This highly desirable Mercedes-Benz is fitted with the additional seats to the rear, making this a nine-seat version. Supplied with the original owner's manual and maintenance booklet, together with two sets of keys, previous service receipts, a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 21st February 2023, this utility vehicle is fitted with automatic transmission, side steps, towbar and still has the original phone handsets fitted. Offering versatility, reliability and prestige all in one, this G-Wagon is one of the best we have seen.

Lot 240

1984 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Transmission: manualMileage:124257The Mercedes-Benz R107 was produced from 1971 through to 1989 and became the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G Class. Sold under the SL model names, the R107 replaced the W113 SL Class in 1972 which was in turn replaced by the R129 SL Class in 1989. The SL variant was a two-seat convertible/roadster with standard soft top and hardtop and optional folding seats for the rear bench. Volume production of the first SL started in April 1971 alongside the last of the W113 cars. Of all the engine offerings the 280 remains sought after with the smaller 2.8 litre engine offering plenty of power but with the advantage of less weight and thus improved handling. The SL Roadster has since become the epitome of what a luxury roadster should look like and can be found from Aberdeen to Antibes and indeed in every corner of the earth and wherever the jet-set congregate. This good 1984 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster has covered less than 8,000 since 2006, as confirmed by the MoT history. Purchased in 2014 with 124,300 miles on the odometer, it has been fully maintained which has included having a new black soft top fitted in 2015 and new tyres which were fitted in 2016.  More recently the interior was stripped out and the bulkhead repaired, the floors were treated, offside front suspension mount was replaced, and a new battery fitted, at a cost of £4,000. It was also serviced and passed the MoT test certificate. This 280 SL is finished in red with matching red hardtop, contrasting light beige interior with the optional rear seat and is supplied with a  V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in June 2022, and records going back to 2014. A car ready to be used and enjoyed this summer.

Lot 255

1997 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:67665Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin consisted of a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows/mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This example is presented in dark blue with cream leather interior which is probably the best combination in our view. It comes with electric seats, air-conditioning, built-in factory stereo, factory hardtop and a dark blue hood which is in good condition. The car comes with a good service history with the first five services carried out by Mercedes-Benz Main Dealers and the rest subsequently by specialists.

Lot 191A

Registration: FY10 CNCChassis Number: SALLMAME3AA321568Engine Number: 10020204562508PSOdometer reading: 48,000 milesOne of four Holland & Holland examplesOne owner from newJust as AMG is synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz performance division and Fords with RS Cosworth badges on the boot can always be relied upon to supply thrills on demand, Overfinch has been connected to Range Rover (and Land Rover) since the 1970's offering something a little more 'exuberant' to the world's best four wheel drive car ever built. Overfinch, in association with the world famous gunmaker, Holland & Holland, produced a limited edition Range Rover in which standard extras are superseded by bespoke packages for their limited numbers production cars. The prototype and first few Holland & Holland L322's were pre-facelift 4.2 engine cars however the rarest was the 5.0 litre facelift cars and as such this is likely a once in a lifetime find. For what could be considered the rarest of all Range Rovers just one of four procured boasting a phenomenal specification this example was first registered in March 2010. Providing service history and provenance this particular example was very tastefully optioned when new and a recent Overfinch Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the car, confirming its title as one of the few real Holland & Holland example. Some of the Overfinch/Holland & Holland customisation extends to the following, green full H&H custom interior in green extended nappa leather with ivory trimming; H&H extended wood pack with inlays, full rear centre console with etched Overfinch/H&H crystal tumblers and champagne flutes, H&H leather and wood steering wheel with steel monogrammed inlays, large rear console mounted fridge and rear entertainment system with executive rear seating and individual reclining heated/cooled seats with winged 'Windsor' headrests. Sitting on 20" Overfinch Tiger alloys with body coloured centres with a full size matching spare wheel. The body is an Overfinch Aero bodykit with exhaust finishers, Overfinch LED illuminated kick plates and it comes as no surprise that the car comes with every Range Rover option bar none. These include uprated Harman/Kardon Logic7 HD, full UV glass double glazed, 360 degree surround cameras, active headlights, touch screen satellite navigation with dual view, locking rear differential, climate front seats and heated steering wheel. The service history file is extensive and boasts full Land Rover main dealer history from new. Serviced and maintained regardless of cost, as part of a collection owned by a UK leisure tycoon. Recently benefitting from new updated timing chains, guides and tensioners in addition to a major service. With just one owner previous owner registered to the private individual then his business thereafter this is a rare collectable car.
