2002 Alfa Romeo 166 V6 Lusso 3.0 SportronicRegistration no. YS02 MWGChassis no. ZAR93600000071893Odometer Reading: 66,000 MoT Expiry: 12/26/2021 *Rarely seen in the UK *Comprehensive history showing 11 services and £20,000-plus spent *Possibly one of the best in the UK The 166 brought Alfa Romeo squarely into a market dominated by the BMW 5-series and the Mercedes-Benz E-class, but some UK buyers thought out of the box and opted for the Alfa instead. UK sales figures were comparatively low so finding any 166 today can take time – until now. This 2002 166 Lusso offers rarely-seen opportunity, having vendor-described excellent bodywork and trim, while the paint is reported to be very good. The interior is said to be excellent throughout and the cream-coloured leather seats are singled out by the vendor as being 'stunning.' Our vendor says the engine is excellent for starting, running and for presentation and that the running gear is excellent throughout. There is much history, including bills and receipts for more than £20,00, and two keys. Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click hereTo Schedule a video condition report for this lot please click hereFootnotes:Vendor Score Total: 98/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. This third-generation model – the second to have a V12 – is presented in very good order throughout, its metallic green paint and bodywork, along with the glass and trim being in vendor-assessed excellent condition. The more than generously-appointed interior is also reported to be in excellent order, bar the headlining which shows sagging at the rear. 1935 Auburn Boat-Tail Speedster ReplicaRegistration no. 626 YUNChassis no. DMV82763CAOdometer Reading: 16,554 MoT Expiry: Exempt *Traditional looks with modern running gear *A fraction of the cost of the 'real thing' *Good mechanical spares support The 1960s saw a rise in the replica (or 'evocation') industry in the USA, where several evocative pre-war cars were reprised with contemporary running gear while retaining the looks of the original model. The Excalibur Mercedes-Benz SSK replica kicked things off in 1963, followed by replicas of Auburns and Cords. This Auburn Speedster replica was built by Campbell Enterprises and Custom Classics using a California Custom Coach company body (who bought the original Auburn design drawings) and our vendor says the bodywork and red paint are good, the glass and Truespoke wheels/whitewall tyres very good. The Ford 7.0-litre V8 engine is rated as very good for starting and good for running and presentation and the vendor says it is 'very reliable and can be driven anywhere.' Running gear-wise the gearbox and brakes are rated as good and the suspension as very good. The car's history is reported to be very good. Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click hereTo Schedule a video condition report for this lot please click hereFootnotes:Vendor Score Total: 67/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. This 2003 example has covered fewer than 20,000 miles from new and is reported to have very good bodywork and excellent light blue metallic paint, an unusual choice for the range-topper model which was generally supplied in black or silver. Our vendor reports the glass, trim and wheels/tyres to also be in excellent order and the lavishly-appointed interior is said to be excellent throughout. 2005 Mercedes SLK 350Reg. no. KS54 VRRChassis no. WDB1714562F051921Engine no. 2729633002970SThe second generation of Mercedes’ retractable hardtop sports car, the SLK, was launched for 2004, and the distinctive front-end styling was a tribute to the Formula 1 cars of that era. The new car was longer and wider than the old model, and made use of stiffer steel, giving a 46% increase in torsional rigidity with the roof down – the handling was therefore considerably improved. In addition, the SLK’s most important feature – the retractable hardtop – was improved, now taking just 22 seconds to raise or lower itself. New engines were offered as well, including the 3.5 litre V6 found in this example. For 2005, this engine produced 268bhp, enough for a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.This example is a rare 6-speed manual car; most SLK350s were fitted with a seven-speed automatic gearbox. A well-looked-after example with two previous owners, it is still in very good all-round condition and was serviced by Mercedes-Benz of Salisbury at 62,000 miles. Recently fitted with four new Continental tyres, it come with an MOT until December 2020, plus some bills and a V5c.

Fast, comfortable and discreetly understated, the C107 was a genuine four-seater with an unparalleled ability to devour the miles. In recent years this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Your inspection pre-sale is welcomed and encouraged to appreciate the potential of this rarely offered motor car which is strictly sold as seen. The SLC (C107) derivative was a 2-door, hardtop Coupe with normal rear seats and is frequently referred to as an SL CoupeThe 4.5-litre V8 developed 225bhp and 278lb/ft of torque, sufficient to propel the, by no means lightweight, SLC to a top speed of 130mphThis example is finished in Champagne Metallic with cream velour and 'Mexican Hat' alloysAppears to be just 21,000 miles from MOT history check with some history and an interesting plate.
