Rare Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer stainless steel gentleman's bracelet watch, ref. 6350, serial no. 95xxxx, circa 1953, gilt black honeycomb 'Swiss' dial with quarter Arabic numerals, baton markers, gilt text and minute track, sweep centre seconds and Mercedes hands, cal. 775 movement signed 'Rolex Perpetual, Swiss Made Patented', no. 462xx, signed inside case numbered 6350 and dated IV.53, Oyster bracelet stamped '3.60' to the clasp, 36mm - Condition Report: - Movement - currently functioning and clean condition. Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master stainless steel gentleman's bracelet watch, ref. 1675, circa 1967, serial no. 170xxxx, rotating faded 'Pepsi' fuchsia bezel, Mark I black dial 'Swiss-T**This fine vintage watch purchased with one owner from new comes complete with the original Rolex box and outer cover, stamped Guarantee and Service booklet purchased from Barrie Curtis (Jewellers) Ltd on the 18th October 1968 for £98.10; also with the original Chronometer Certificate. The photograph depicting the current owner wearing the watch in Paris in 1970 - Condition Report: - Movement - currently functioning. Dial - original dial with oxidised patination and staining to the markers - see images for markers lume guidance. Glass - visible surface scratches and marks present. Hands - matching, light surface marks and would benefit with re-setting. Extremely rare Rolex Oyster Perpetual 'Big Crown' Submariner stainless steel gentleman's bracelet watch with the 'Explorer dial', ref. 6538, circa 1958, serial no. 426xxx, the bezel with black calibrated insert, 'Swiss' black dial with luminous 3-6-9 numerals and outer minute track, baton markers, Mercedes hands and centre seconds, 'Brevet' big crown, cal. 1030 25 jewel adjusted five position movement, no. 556xxx, the inside case back dated ''IV. 1958', ref. 7206 riveted Oyster bracelet, bezel 37mm diameter - **with a Rolex box and green wallet, no papers. **For reference a similar model sold at Christie's New York in June 2018 for USD 1,068,500 - Condition Report: - Movement - currently functioning. Dial - see all images for guidance, no Submariner and depth rating, we think that the radium to the dial has been re-finished and possibly from an earlier ref. 6200 model, this is our opinion only - personal viewing is advised if possible. Glass - badly scratched. Hands - surface marks, probably later. Case - the bezel insert is later and sits loose at present, surface and scratch marks present - see images. N429xxx, gold "'root beer" bezel, champagne Serti dial with ruby quarter markers and diamond dot markers, Mercedes hands with GMT hand, sweep centre seconds and date aperture, cal. 3185 movement, inside case back ref. 16710, jubilee bracelet, bezel 40mm diameter **with Rolex box **Reference 16713 was in production from approximately 1989 to 2006 with different variations of the dial and bezels produced. The bezel is given the nickname "Root Beer" because of the brown and cream colour for the inserts, which has a resemblance to the popular soda pop. The current watch is further enhanced with a dial set with the ruby and diamond-set numerals - Condition Report: - Movement - currently functioning. Dial - a pale champagne colour. Glass - good. Hands - light marks, matching. Case - typical light marks from general wear, the bezel not rotating at present so requires attention to release. Also included in this lot are five Franklin Mint diecast model cars including a Mercedes Benz 300SL in plain box with paperwork, the other four models being unboxed although do retain their polystyrene packaging.
