EXTRA LOT: A 1994 Mercedes-Benz SL280, registration number L501 VFL, maroon. Mercedes new R129 model became available in 1989 and would remain in production until 2001. They were available in various engine configurations from the frugal 2.8 litre to the mighty 7.3 litre AMG V8. This example is powered by the 2.8 litre engine which allows good fuel economy with adequate performance. Finished in metallic maroon with a factory hard top and cream leather interior, it also features some handsome wide AMG alloy wheels which certainly gives the SL a very muscular stance. The SL 280 will be offered for auction with some service history. V5C, MOT to February 2020 See illustrationAll lots in this sale are sold as is and bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding. Please read our terms and conditions.
A 1980 Reliant Scimitar GTC, registration number ONM 692V, Champagne. The GTC is a rare car as only 442 were built over a six year period between 1980 and 1986. The body featured a T-bar roof similar to Triumph's Stag which offered rigidity to the structure and safety to the four passengers. The running gear was taken care of by the tried and tested Ford V6 engine and gearbox in either automatic or four speed manual with overdrive. This rare manual overdrive equipped example is finished in Champagne with a Mushroom velour interior and has the benefit of being fitted with a hard top for all year round motoring. Our vendor advises us that the Scimitar is running and driving with a current MOT but would benefit from some fettling in a few areas. There is a good accompanying history file with receipts for maintenance, previous MOTs and an original owners handbook. Now offering an alternative to the contemporary Triumph Stag or Mercedes SL at a much more competitive price this GTC is well worth consideration. V5C, MOT to July 2019, ***not tax exempt yet*** See illustration. All lots in this sale are sold as is and bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding. Please read our terms and conditions

A 1990 Mercedes-Benz 420 SE saloon, registration number G646 HKG, Almandine metallic red. This 420SE (126 Series) saloon was originally supplied by Continental Cars Cardiff Ltd and registered to JPM Automatic Machinery on 1/1/90 as a company car. Our vendor has owned this high mileage example (over 200,000) which has been well maintained since 2010. Finished in Almandine red with a full cream leather interior, the cabin is lavishly equipped having adjustable electric driver and passenger seats, air conditioning, electric sunroof, original Vodafone and Philips stereo cassette player. The bodywork is in good condition without the usual rust problems around the rear wheel arches and boot lid, and the 420 sits on a handsome set of later Mercedes alloy wheels. G646 HKG has seen little use in recent years, only covering 50 miles in the last three, so due to this inactivity and an imminent house move our vendor has taken the decision to sell. The Mercedes will be offered for sale with a history file containing a stamped maintenance booklet and handbooks.V5C, MOT to March 2020 See illustration All lots in this sale are sold as is and bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.
