CORRECTED (LOWER) ODOMETER READING 1995 Audi 80 Cabriolet 2.0 - Odometer reading 170,300 miles- MOTd until 29th September 2022 with no advisories - Manual, 2.0l petrol producing 115 bhp Audis fourth generation of the 80 aimed to introduce the model into the German luxury mid-sized vehicle segment which was dominated by BMW and Mercedes-Benz at the time. It did so successfully with the B4 models being extremely popular especially amongst those in the corporate world. This blue Audi Cabriolet has been adored by its current owner for the last year and a half. A former mechanic, he exclaims that he has regularly maintained the car and dry-stored it in his garage since ownership. He mentions that he personally installed new discs, brake pads and hoses (front and back) along with changing the timing belt, water pump and thermostat distributor cap 1000 miles ago with receipts to backup part purchases. It is clear from its recent MOT and from visual inspection that it has been well cared for mechanically as well as aesthetically. The bodywork and interior appear smart with only a minor scratch on the lower passenger side door that lets it down and the car comes with its original leather binder filled with history. The car includes 2 keys, alarmed central locking, electric windows and power steering which is all working. There has been an upgraded stereo unit fitted which allows the driver to make hands free phone calls and play music. This combined with its half blue leather interior makes the cabin a lovely place to be. This retro cabriolet offers a great cheap usable modern classic that is only appreciating and will see you through the months in 2022. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd December to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.

Lot 1016

1963 Mercedes-Benz 300 SE Sedan Fintail Barn Find - Comes with a collection of parts - Not complete; engine for example is not with the vehicle - Tax disk indicates it was likely last on the road in 1993 The Mercedes 300 SE was one of four models that Mercedes decided to introduce their new Fintail body style to. The 300 SEs success in the luxury sedan market had moulded the car into their flagship model, aimed at wealthy clientele. When launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1961, the 300 SE was double the cost of a Jaguar E-Type. They went on to produce over five thousand examples until production ceased in 1965 where they were superseded by the 600 Grosser. This era of luxury Mercedes is now extremely sought after due to its combination of aesthetic extravagance with matching performance from its 3-litre fuel-injected engine which produced 170BHP. This example from our checks was originally grey but has clearly been sitting for a number of years with parts being taken out. For example the vehicle is without its engine or transmission. It does however come with a large array of spares including an additional front grille, bumpers and trim alongside light clusters. Ewbanks encourages any interested parties to come to take a look at the vehicle on our viewing days prior to the sale and request a condition report to gain insight into the cars state. There is no doubt this would make a great restoration project with fully restored examples meeting high results at auction. Alternatively the car offers a great donor to another project. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.Condition Report: Extensive corrosion on most panels of the car. Windscreen is cracked. Engine, drivers side door and transmission are not with the car and could have more missing mechanically parts. Interior looks decayed but seats have held up reasonably well from storage - they would obviously care for a refurb however. Vehicle does come with an array of parts in the boot of the vehicle and the back seat. For example another front grille, taillight clusters and bumper parts are all visible. Vehicle has no history apart from its V5c which shows 4 former keepers. Clearly the vehicle would require a serious restoration to bring it back to drivability, however, the parts should hold some considerable value due to the rarity of these examples to any sixties Mercedes enthusiast.

Lot 1019

1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E (W201) 2.0 Saloon - Pine Green metallic - 106,380 miles with large history file - New MOT The W201 Series '190' model was unveiled by Mercedes at the Paris Motor Show in 1982 and was the first 'compact' saloon to be released by the company. It quickly formed a reputation for superior build quality over its main rivals and set new standards of refinement in the 4-door saloon segment. 1.87 million were built across an 11-year production span. The 'E' designation on the majority of 190 models denotes the 'Electronic Fuel injection' provided by the Bosch KE-Jetronic multi-point system, which enhanced the power output of the vehicle. This particular model is a 1992 190E, specified in metallic pine green with matching upholstery and automatic transmission. It is a late example, registered the year prior to production ceasing. The history file verifies the low mileage and is made up of the original Mercedes book-pack wallet (including stamped service booklet with 13 x entries), a further invoice for service at 100,615 miles, as well as many old MOT's, other papers, Haynes Manual, V5 and spare key. This privately entered Mercedes is a very attractive modern classic with good history and presents in excellent general order.

Perfect for the inner city life, the A class is still enjoyed today. This example has been well maintained and comes with a large history file. While having a variety of age related marks especially on the front bumper and door panels the car generally appears smart and mechanically sound. Perfect, reliable and cheap city run-around. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.Condition Report: Scuff on bumpers and battery has been flat in our care otherwise seems mechanically sound.

1992 Mercedes-Benz 300SL-24 Transmission: automaticMileage:46273Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Based around a two-door monocoque bodyshell, its sophisticated, all-round independent suspension was augmented by a host of active and passive safety features including electronic stability control, ventilated ABS disc brakes, adaptive-damping shock absorbers and an integral rollover bar that deployed in less than a third of a second if the car ever sensed an impending flip. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin included a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows/mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This example was registered in August 1992 and presents well in Pearl Blue metallic with a contrasting mushroom leather interior. With only four previous owners, this car has covered 46,000 miles whilst retaining a full Mercedes-Benz service history throughout. With the original Blaupunkt Canberra radio/cassette player adding to the cars originality, this 300SL-24 has the additional specification of drivers airbag, air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats and eight hole 16 alloy wheels. Supplied with its original removable hardtop and extensive history file, service booklet and book pack, we are told that this R129 SL drives extremely well. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate.      Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 259

2000 Mercedes-Benz CL600 AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:104752The CL Class is the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz car range. It continued to follow the same development cycle as the S-Class, though riding on a shorter wheelbase and offered with only the higher-output powertrains. It was the first Mercedes to feature Active Body Control, Bi-Xenon headlights and, on the early V12 models such as this one, it employed Active Cylinder Control. This shut down one bank of cylinders under light engine loads enabling it to achieve better fuel economy than the V8 CL500. Not bad for a car with a six litre V12 developing 367bhp and yielding a Soyuz-launching 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds. It is as a Grand Tourer that this model is primarily designed for though. With more rear seat space than many executive Saloons, a huge boot and a truly cosseting driving environment, the CL is one of the most soothing cars you could hope to take on a long trip. The performance is remarkable and the turbine-smooth V12 is, frankly, epic. This example is presented in silver with black leather interior and comes with electric sunroof, heated electric memory seats to the front, satellite navigation, CD player and air conditioning. Powered by the smooth and quiet but mighty V12, this car is in good condition and still so sumptuous. These luxurious coupés were extremely expensive when first manufactured and today this car is offered without reserve – simply a must!Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 122

1999 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:59891Three things you can be sure of when acquiring a Mercedes-Benz; build quality, innovation and reliability. Or QIR as it is often referred to in the ‘trade’. From the advent of the Pagoda in the 1950s though to Alexa Carrington-style (R107) in the 1980s, the Bremen engineers had a tough act to follow. But, with the launch of the R129 in 1989, they had clearly mastered the act of reinventing the wheel! Quality and reliability are a given now, but innovation really took the motoring press by storm. Controlled electronic damping and an automatically expanding roll-over bar as well as fully operating electric hood, windows, door mirrors and seats. While the SL boasted a more powerful engine, stopping power was conversely aided by anti-locking braking for added reassurance. This lovely metallic silver SL R129 was first registered on 29th July 1999 and boast just five owners since new. The car is complemented by full grey leather trim with electrically adjustable memory seats and the desirable panoramic hardtop. A car that has been predominantly garaged when not in use, the vendor states ‘it is an exceptionally clean car and at the point of consignment everything was working as it should’. T432 RMX is offered with two keys, the original book pack, hardtop cover and a clean MoT test certificate with no advisories which is valid until September 2022.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
