A 19th century diamond memorial ring, the central rose cut diamond countersunk within a heart shape and intersected by a cross and an anchor of yellow metal, set within a navette of black enamel, to shaped shoulders and tapering band, stamped '18', size I, (2.7g)Traditionally the anchor has been used as a symbol of strength and hope. It originates from the Bible, Hebrews 6:19, "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure". Often used in funerary symbolism it can be found in various catacombs worldwide. It is also used in association with St.Nicholas, the patron saint of seamen.

19th Century French ormolu and patinated bronze figural mantel clock, the enamel dial with Roman numerals, with a two train silk suspension movement striking on a bell CONDITION REPORT Case and movement appear to be in good condition. Back foot is loose, will just need tightening.It is working and striking ok. Gilt is ok but needs a gentle clean. Dial is in good condition and has no cracks or chips.

Marc, Paris, with a two train movement striking on a bell CONDITION REPORT Has no pendulum, bell has been screwed into position too tight and needs some work to remove it. Some small chips to edge of slate plinth and two hairline cracks to the dial (see photos)
19th Century circular ebonised wall clock, the painted enamel dial inscribed ' Ketterer Ware ', with a single train movement CONDITION REPORT The clock does not have a fusee movement. The clock currently works but we never give guarantees it will remain so. Overall condition to case and movement is ok, but it has no pendulum. One peg is missing.
