A Victorian earthenware graduated pair of jugs, c.1850, each underglaze blue and enamel painted in the Imari style with pagodas and flowering shrubs, with loop handle and flared neck, 21.6cm and 19cm; a set of three Mason's Ironstone plates, c.1830, painted and printed in the Imari palette; and another with differing pattern, (6).
A late 19th century French lacquered brass repeating carriage clock with alarm, the anglaise case with silvered mask to a white enamel Roman and Arabic chapter disc signed 'Hry Marc, Paris', having an alarm disc below, the eight-day twin barrel movement with lever platform escapement striking to a gong, the back-plate numbered 3132, 17.75cm. high, together with leather travelling case.
A Fine Mid 19th Century French Wheel Barometer by Cappy Paris. The diagonally veneered case enriched with applied gilt bronze mounts of scrolling foliage. The 7 1/2 inch (19 cm) white enamel dial signed Cappy Paris and graduated in French inches with an adjustable S-shaped gilt metal pointer. The long thermometer scale also signed and framed in entwined gilt branches, 44 1/2 ins (113 cms) overall in length.
