A Worcester dessert service, spiral moulded and decorated in gold and brown enamel with bands of fruiting vine, unmarked, c.1790, comprising: two tureens, covers and stands, one large and two smaller oval dishes, four shell shaped dishes, two square dishes and seventeen plates. (32) Minor faults.

Oval, slightly domed medallion of black enameled gold, the viewing side with finely engraved Anhalt coat of arms, on the reverse German inscription (saying: Johann Ludwig ... was shooting king at D.Coswigl on 18 August 1704 and died in the same year on 1 november after he proved great patience. On the cover the monogram "NII" in light blue guilloched enamel set in a medallion with a continuous border of diamonds and a tasseled hanging with diamond rosettes (one missing). Screw connected fire-gilt border of trophies with royal crown. Red cloth liner, the attachment hook with manufacturer's stamp "C.E.Juncker Berlin". En suite underlined chain for obverse mounting. Height 14 cm. An extremely rare gorget in an unusually fine state of preservation. €3,000.00

Fire-gilt vestiges, bird's head grip in brass with red glass eyes and applied Guard Star (some enamel damage). Leather scabbard (somewhat shrunken) with gilt brass fittings. Length 59.5 cm. €1,500.00
