Nineteenth century French mantel clock with eight day movement, signed - Lewis & Son Paris, striking on a bell, outside countwheel and white enamel dial, signed - Henry & Son Paris, with blue Roman numerals and gold coloured hands, in a decorative ormolu case with inset painted porcelain panels surmounted by birds and under a glass dome, standing on a gilt plinth, 36cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Key and pendulum are present. Case is in very good condition. No visible damage. Porcelain panels are undamaged. Dial has minor scratches. Plinth is dirty and some missing gilt decoration. Velvet is tired

Balance swings and movement appears to be in working order but balance escapement is possibly a replacement. Dial is in good condition. No visible damage. Case is worn and gilt finish is now patchy. Some areas of case pillars are corroded. There is no carrying case

Early nineteenth century longcase clock with eight day movement, fourteen inch painted break arch dial, painted figure spandrels, white dial, signed - M. Simpson, Cockermouth, with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and moon roller calendar break arch, in a mahogany case with short shaped door, inlaid stringing and square fluted pillars, hood with arched door, twisted columns and swan-neck pediment with verre eglomisé panels and carved flower heads and central finial, 228cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Dial false plate and moon roller dial are signed - Finnemore Birmingham. Dial is dirty and enamelling crazed. Some damage to enamel along edges. Scuff in centre of dial between winding holes. Pendulum and weights present. Case is in quite good condition. Top of trunk door is damaged and stone finial is not original. Plinth front panel is cracked in places and veneer has been replaced in two places and veneer has been replaced in two places. One verre eglomisé panel is cracked and top right panel has piece missing
Late nineteenth century French miniature longcase clock with spring-driven movement and lever escapement, white enamel fluted dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minute scale, in a Louis XIV revival kingwood case with classical gilt metal mounts and chicken finial, on four foliate feet, 55cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Movement is clean but escapement is a replacement. As far as we can tell dial and movement are original but we have not had movement out of the case. Dial has some damage to enamel between X and XII. We cannot say if the movement is in full working order. Case is in excellent condition, although metalwork is dirty

Weights and pendulum are present. Dial surface enamel is cracked in places around edge (see picture). Repeat strike cord is missing. Case is in very good condition
