Medal 1890 Blackburn Rovers, Lancashire Senior Cup Runners Up, Awarded to G. Dewar, in silver and enamel, the front featuring Three Lions and Three Red Roses and 'Lancashire Football Association 1890'. The reverse with players engraved name, club and 'Runners Up', with hallmarks. Blackburn lost 2-0 to Burnley in the Final. George Dewar joined Blackburn from Dumbarton in 1889 and went to play 197 times for Rovers scoring ten goals.

A mid-20th scent bottle and a dressing-table requisite-jar:1. a stylish mid-20th century hand-cut Bohemian-style scent bottle with large arched overhanging stopper, (very minor nibbles to edge lip) and star-cut base (16cm including stopper), 2. the circular (14cm in diameter) hand-cut requisite-jar having hallmarked silver circular lid with yellow guilloché enamel finish in the form of a scallop shell (approx. 3cm x 1cm piece of enamel away)
A 19th century Sèvres-style potpourri vase and cover: the domed cover with a gilded pineapple finial above lobing; the vase with a reticulated neck; two scrolling partially gilded scrolled handles; two panels decorated in enamel with exotic birds amongst country surroundings; conical foot with spreading circular beaded base; blue-painted marks to the underside of vase and lid (28cm high)Condition Report: The gilding appears a little worn on the finial and also to the rim of the cover but no other chips, cracks or restoration noted. It is noted on the main body that there is a small section (1cm) of kiln grit visible to the top lip horizontally about the reticulated neck. The vignettes with enamel decoration are clear and bright and then underside of the circular spreading foot is noted to be dirty/discoloured. The join of the foot to the main body is visible with a thread and nut as expected. A little bubbling on one side of the main vase glaze-wide near the handle.

Morrell - Oxford Street)
A fine silver and enamel cigarette / card case - concentric guilloche ground decorated with irises in enamel (Mappin and Webb, Birmingham 1940) (8.5cm high x 7.75cm wide)Condition Report: in natural light reflecting on the enamel surface there are quite a few surface 'scratches' to be seen and indeed (under a loupe) one of these scratches has penetrated as a hairline to the vertical blue leaf on the left. Other surface scratches visible under lamp light, no major chips or restoration noted. The canted edges appear in good order as does the silver throughout. The case shuts tightly as it should and exhibits a fully hallmarked gilded interior in excellent condition. The original elasticated band also appears to be present.
A late 19th century foldover top rosewood card table; green baize top with gilt tooled green leather border swivelling to reveal interior compartment with applied oval enamel maker's label of Howard & Sons Manufacturers, 25,26,27 Berners St, London.W (some veneers away to left hand side front, some water marks and other marks etc. to top), raised on four slender, turned tapering legs headed with fluted blocks (91.5cm wide x 46cm deep x 74cm high)
