London Transport 1930s enamel on nickel-silver OFFICIAL'S PLATE issued to senior officers for use when in plain clothes. The clip on the reverse allowed fixing to the breast pocket. This is serial number 307 from the first series issued c1934 and based on a design first used by the LGOC and in continued use in similar forms until relatively recently. In good, used condition. A set of four 19th century Meissen porcelain plates with basket weave moulded rims, hand painted with floral sprays and brown painted rims, 24cm diameter, and one other similar Meissen porcelain plate, 25cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Single plate: chip to rim. Glaze scratched. Gilt rim with wear. Decoration in good order. Plate one (Red tulip): Very tiny chip to rim with slight wear. Fault to glaze in 2 places within the bowl of the plate have been ground down. Some small scratches to glaze and decoration.Plate two (Mauve rose and yellow tulip): Two small chips to rim. Brown enamel to rim with slight wear. Glaze ground down in several areas within the bowl. Some scratches to glaze and decoration. Small chip to foot rim.Plate three (Red flower and yellow tulip): Several areas of glaze having been ground down to bowl of dish. No chips to rim but three chips to foot rim. Condition otherwise as above re scratches and brown enamel.Plate four (Purple rose and tulip): Several areas of glaze having been ground down to bowl of dish. One small chip to rim and two small chips to foot rim. Otherwise condition as with others.

A Chinese export Qianlong famillè rose porcelain trio, the cup 5.8cm high, the bowl 7.2cm diameter, the saucer 12.2cm diameter and a Chinese famillè rose porcelain Qianlong cream jug, 10cm high and two famillè rose tea bowls CONDITION REPORT: Coffee cup - Chip to the rim. large crack running down from the chip and curling around as it reaches the bottom of the body. Small star crack to the base. Slight wear to the enamel and gilding on the outside of the cup.Teabowl - Chip to the rim. Hair line crack running down the body from the chip. Firing fault to the bottom of the body/foot. Slight wear to the gilding and enamel on the outside of the cup. Saucer - Slight wear to the gilding. Jug - Restoration to spout and inside rim and restoration to the handle. There is also a firing crack on the inside of the spout. Bowl one - Decorated with insects and flowers. Gilt decoration worn. V-shaped hairline crack running down the entire length of the bowl, terminating at the rim with small chip. Some wear to decoration. Bowl two - Decorated with chickens. Several small chips to the foot rim and many small chips and nibbles to the top rim. One hairline crack running down the entire length of the bowl to the rim. Some wear to the decoration.
