Silver and enamel dressing table items, tortoiseshell dressing table items, and 1920's ivory dressing table items . Enamel set, both brushes with loss to the enamel, hand mirror with slight loss to the enamel, all other pieces good, the powder bowl cover has no glass base. Ivory tray has cracks to two of its bracket feet. No other issues to report.
Assorted ceramics and glassware to include early 20th century hand-decorated Chinese Canton wares and small pill boxesCondition Report: The larger of the barrel-shaped pots has a very hairline at the top which could have been part of the firing process. The teapot has a 1cm chip away from the inside of the rim at the top towards the spout. The spout has a 0.5cm hairline which is visible from the outside. Cylindrical box box and cover has a little bit of wear to the enamel edges not real problem. Lastly, the barrel shaped box does have some damage - the base of the barrel-shaped pot (decorated with prunus) is reasonable condition but the lid has a 1cm chip to the edge and is visible.

An early 20th Century Minton part dessert service, with raised gilt scrolling foliage and coloured enamel pendant flowers, comprising 12 plates, 2 comports, puce pink factory mark and numbered S6541 (14). A French Sevres style porcelain and gilt metal mantel clock, combining associated late 19th century elements, with eight-day bell striking movement stamped to the backplate for the SCHERER, PARIS, and serial numbered 6708, with white enamel Roman numeral dial escribed SCHERER to the centre, in a case with urn and pineapple pattern finials above panels decorated with cherubs and birds the case with stamped serial number 6084, 38cm high overall Condition Report: The case with marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, the finial to the urn is a replacement, the surface with losses to the gilt - the gilt a different tone to the remainder of the case. the gilt to the main body of the case with some wear and pitting to surface. The feet also appear to be later associated to the clock overall. The dial with cracks and splits, and crazing. The ceramic panels with wear and losses to the gilt surfaces and decoration. No serious damage noted to the ceramic panels. No glass to the bezel and nothing to the rear to protect the movement. With an associated key, and the pendulum likewise associated - the serial number to this (1051) not matching any other elements. The interior of the bell with written inscriptions. Dreweatts have not tested the movement nor can we give any guarantees to being working order or make any comments as to longevity. We recommend having the movement looked over by a professional clock restorer prior to use in a domestic setting. Condition Report Disclaimer
A 19th Century French giltwood wall clock, the 8.25" white enamel dial supporting an eight day striking movement within a sunburst surround, 126cms wide overall. Condition Report: 6 spokes with old repairs. One spoke detached but present- which will require remedial work. Movement with detached bell and very dirty. Condition: due to the mechanical nature of clocks and the fact that most are of great age we cannot offer any guarantee as to whether they are in working order or free from major faults or restoration.
