George III gold mounted glass scent bottle, in high carat gold mount, the top with chased decoration and white enamel frieze, with the words L A 'MITTIE VOUS L'OFFRE, mount with swags and foliate decoration, 7.5 cm ,. Glass has been damaged and stuck, on either side of the mount, strips hold in place the two sides, this is loose at the base. Glass has been broken and repaired with transparent glue, in an oblique line following diamond faceting, and in one section across faceting. the mount has sections cut, of the three side adjoining sections, two are cut, the middle two have been joined by gold coloured strips ( metal not tested ) one section at bottom also has strips, not joined, the other side is loose. Enamel, cap and remainder of mount good condition, inner glass stopper fits well
