An Arts and Crafts copper and enamelled casket, of rectangular form, the hinged lid inset with enamelled panel depicting a faun playing pipes whilst sheep graze, the hinged clasp set with enamel cabochon and worked with interwoven leafy tendrils, the whole opening to reveal a wood lined interior, the angles with applied tapered brackets and riveted decoration, with an ashtray drawer to the front, stamped monogram to lid and clasp 16cm wide, 9cm high, 9.5cm deep
De Courcy Lewthwaite Dewar (1878-1959). An Arts and Crafts enamelled Devotional Triptych, 1906, with the arms of Glasgow, inscribed "Let Glasgow Flourish", the three panels depicting Kentigern flanked by angels and inscribed "Alleluia Oh Kentigern Praise God Alleuia (sic)", enclosed within steel case, with copper strapwork set with moonstone cabochons, signed on the enamel "D.C.L.D." and on the case verso "DEC.L.D., 1906". Central panel 18cm x 10.5cm, side panels each 18cm x 5cm, the whole 33cm high.
