A Renaissance style Limoges enamel rectangular plaque, in the manner of Leonard Limosin, probably late 19th century, finely painted with a scene of St John preaching in the Desert, 18cm x 13.5cm, within an ebonized and gilt metal mounted frame, the foliate engraved borders inset with six oval enamel cherubic plaques 38cm x 32cm.
A near pair of Renaissance style Limoges enamel rectangular plaques, in the manner of Leonard Limosin, probably late 19th century, each finely painted with a half-length portrait of a saint, one accompanied by a lion and inscribed 'MAROVS', 14cm x 11cm, the other accompanied by a bull, 12.8cm x 11.4cm, both within giltwood frames.
A 19th century French brass cased repeating carriage clock, the enamel dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals and subsidiary second dial, height including swing handle 18cm.Condition Report: When wound the clock does run and the repeating mechanism is functioning, although We offer no guarantee of working order. No key present and sadly we do not post clocks.
A late 19th century French ormolu mounted kingwood bracket clock with pineapple finial, the enamel dial set with Arabic numerals and swags, with Medaille d'Argent movement, height 31cm.Condition Report: No key present, small chip to face near winding hole, when wound the clock does not appear to be running, light wear to the case but a lovely clock presented well, complete with pendulum. Sadly, we do not offer a posting service for clocks.
A late 19th century Black Forest Vienna wall clock of shaped form, the enamel dial set with Roman numerals, height 107cm.Condition Report: Central glass panel is loose but present, minor chipping to the edges of glass, scuffing and wear to the case, minor cracking to the case, no signs of worm to case, cracking and losses to the enamel dial, minor losses to the case edge.
