Great Britain collection of stamps housed in 2 Davo pre-printed albums (along with a spare binder) and spanning 1840 to 1936 mint and used. The collection boasts many iconic stamps and needs close inspection to appreciate. Noted: 38 x 1d Blacks (various Plates inc Plate 11 with Cert, one inverted wmk, couple with matching 1d Reds from same Plate, some truly superb examples); 3 x 2d Blues, first printing; excellent range of 1d Red imperfs; some with Numeral in MX cancel, some multiples; 22 x 2d Blues second printing (shades, Numeral in MX cancels, Lavender tinted paper with Cert); masses of 1d Red Stars (some multiples, various with Spoon cancels); 1d Red Plates almost complete to Plate 224; complete set of ½d Plates; excellent range of Embossed issues (1/-x3, 10d x1, 6d x 7 of which 3 are inv wmk); there follows a stunning array of surface printed items including 1867-83 5/- to £1 and the £5 Orange plus a Specimen of the same; 1883-84 range of 2/6 to £1 (3 x 2/6, 2 x 5/-, 3 x 10/- and both £1 wmks plus 5/- mint); 1891 £1; the KE reign has values to £1 (both issues) and numerous shades; the Geo V reign has much by way of shade and wmk variation and includes some imperf trials; Seahorses are well represented with both £1 values and there is a £1 PUC. There is a quantity of Geo V booklet panes in packets. The second album has many Official Overprints with denominations to 10/-, however none have certificates; these are followed by a comprehensive array of mint and used Postage Dues and mint Post and Go sets.

Starting with India used in Zanzibar, then French POs in Zanzibar, then their own stamps from 1895 through to Independence in 1963 then post-revolutionary Republic with local overprints and those of London and finally up to 1989 as part of Tanzania. A very comprehensive collection including Postage Dues and real photos of the area and Sultans.

The set includes two round scalloped-edge plates and a shell-shaped dish, each adorned with delicate blue detailing and subtle relief work. The undersides are marked with the crossed swords Meissen backstamp, with one piece additionally marked "Germany," indicating post-1924 production. Pre and Post decimal, to include a coin folder with Half Crowns, Two shillings, One shillings, Sixpences, Threepence Bits, ranging from 1910s-1960s with various copper coins two banknotes and two coin collecting books.  Roland Morris was a well known maritime archeologist, historian, writer and entrepreneur based in Cornwall, particularly Penzance. His most famous discovery was the wreck of the Association also working on other major wrecks around the Cornish coast. He also opened the Admiral Benbow a much celebrated pub filled with nautical themed decoration.
