Interesting Third Reich documentation group for head of Luftwaffe Staff - Directorate Doctor Walter Berndt, comprising file copy award and promotion confrimations for the German Cross in silver, War Merit Cross, Bar to EKI, various file copy wartime operational matters from immediate post Battle of Britain period - October 1940, handwritten reports, notes, personal file, de-nazification testaments etc, most with English translations. Dr Berndt was considered at the time to be the best Head of Staff Directorate the Luftwaffe had ever had and was appointed by the Allies to aid in the reconstruction of Germany.
